The scenic area is lush with trees and has a quiet and peaceful scenery. There are many authentic calligraphy works by famous people. The world has changed dramatically. The Yangtze River is one kilometer away from Dongpo Chibi, leaving only a pool of water. However, the Chibi Fu left by Dongpo here has been passed down through the ages.
The famous Red Cliff is Su Dongpo's literary Red Cliff. Su Shi may have mistaken this place for the Red Cliff where the Battle of Red Cliffs took place during the Three Kingdoms period. He accidentally gave this place a humanistic landscape and left behind the famous Red Cliff Fu. Thousands of years ago, Su Shi was looking for Zhou Yu here; thousands of years later, travelers came here to visit Dongpo.

I visited Macheng during the off-season and found the natural scenery of this scenic spot surprisingly beautiful. However, the bus service to the scenic spot was quite a rip-off. The visitor center was located too far away, 8 kilometers from the main scenic area, so most people had to buy a bus ticket for 40 yuan.
Macheng's Guifeng Mountain Scenic Area is renowned for its magnificent natural scenery and rich cultural heritage. Especially in spring, when thousands of acres of ancient azaleas are in full bloom, the "sea of azaleas" stretching across the mountain ridges resembles a riot of color, a truly remarkable sight in Central China. The suspended plank road and Turtle Head Rock are breathtaking, and reaching the summit offers breathtaking views of the mist-shrouded landscape. Avoid holiday traffic and allow ample time to stroll through the ancient azalea colonies and experience the ecological charm of this "world's finest turtle."

Luotian Tiantangzhai has beautiful scenery and good service. We parked the car in the parking lot next to the entrance of Monkey Valley (free), and then took the scenic shuttle bus to the entrance (not worth it, it only took 5 minutes), walked up the mountain for a while and arrived at the vertical elevator. The elevator was still very fast, about two or three minutes, but it was very difficult to climb up. Going up all the way, the stairs were very steep, there was no chance to go downhill, all the way to Magpie Bridge and Philosopher Peak. I originally planned to go to Nantianmen, but I didn't go because I wanted to catch the afternoon rafting. Returning by the same route, the glass plank road was given as a gift in the ticket. It was not long but also thrilling. The whole scenic spot is around the Xiaohuashan Elevator. I am also from Dabie Mountain, and I really didn't expect that there is such a big and high mountain in Dabie Mountain. Highly recommended!
The scenery is pretty good. We went up the mountain at noon. We walked through the deep bamboo forest. We didn't have enough time, so we got off at Magpie Bridge at around 3 o'clock. We didn't go to Zheren Peak and Nantianmen. We can also go from Monkey Mountain to Xiaohua Mountain to take the elevator to climb the mountain. There will be more time.
