At 8:00 AM, we departed from Xi&#39;an, heading straight for the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor. Located in Huangling County, Yan&#39;an City, the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor is a national 5A-level scenic area, hailed as the ancestral tomb of the Chinese nation. Upon arrival, we first went to the visitor center to purchase tickets: 75 yuan for adults and 20 yuan for the electric shuttle bus up the mountain. Huangling County has a hot and dry climate, so be sure to take precautions against the sun!

After entering the scenic area, we passed Xuanyuan Square and Xuanyuan Bridge. The first stop was the Xuanyuan Temple. The Xuanyuan Temple is a sacred site for worshipping the Yellow Emperor, and it was crowded with tourists expressing their reverence. Near the temple, there are many exhibition halls, including calligraphy and painting exhibition halls, cultural relic displays, and sacrificial halls. The stone tablets in the stele pavilion were particularly interesting, as were a pair of Yellow Emperor footprints, approximately 1 square meter in size, representing a unique totem worship practiced by the Chinese people.

Continuing north, we arrived at the sacrificial hall, which houses the Wen Tian Drum and the Dragon Soul Bell, perfect for offering sacrifices and prayers. After the ceremony, we began our ascent to the Yellow Emperor&#39;s mausoleum. The scenery along the way is breathtaking, and I especially recommend the view overlooking the entire cypress forest from Hanwu Terrace &ndash; it&#39;s truly unique.

The Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor is the tomb of the Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan, the ancestor of the Chinese nation. It is located in Beiqiao Mountain, Huangling County, Yan&#39;an City, Shaanxi Province, and is known as the &quot;No. 1 Mausoleum in the World&quot;. The &quot;Yellow Emperor&#39;s Hand-planted Cypress&quot; in front of the mausoleum is more than 5,000 years old. It is said to have been planted by the Yellow Emperor himself and is the oldest cypress in the world.

The ticket price is 75 yuan, half price for those under 16 years old, free for those over 70 years old, and the round trip by battery car is 20 yuan per person. We walked around for more than 3 hours, finally making up for the loss of not visiting last time.
