Jeonju has the largest hanok village in South Korea. The village had over 700 houses during the Joseon Dynasty. I also enjoyed seeing Gyeonggijeon Palace and the outdoor museum. The best part is getting a panoramic view of the entire traditional village from Omokdae, a memorial pavilion on a hill.

Jeonju Bibimbap is the birthplace of Korean Bibimbap, similar to the Kuanzhai Alley in Chengdu.

It is a representative tourist destination in Korea where you can experience Korean clothes, Korean food, Korean houses, and traditional culture. In the Hanok Village, there are important cultural properties such as Gyeonggijeon, Omokdae, and Jeonju Hyanggyo Confucian School, which are perfect for staying overnight.
