I searched for this restaurant before I came to Jiaxing. After the yoga trip in Jiaxing, I visited this restaurant. This restaurant is near Yuehe Street and has a nice facade. There is no menu here, so you can order food by looking at the real food at the front desk. After a week of vegetarianism, I seemed particularly happy to see meat 😃Zou Daxian, it should be a chain store, the atmosphere here is good [strong] The dishes are typical Jiaxing style, and they are quite standard.
Zou Daxian (Zhongji Branch) is located not far from Yuehe Road in the historical district of Jiaxing. Its storefront is not big, and inside is a large courtyard that leads all the way to the Houhe River. The restaurant layout of its Jiangnan courtyard is unique, and the dishes are quite rich and taste good.

Hecheng Lu Gaojian (Yuehe Branch) is a century-old store and a time-honored brand in Zhejiang. The store has private rooms upstairs and a lobby downstairs. It faces the square and is close to the pier. When dining here, you can enjoy the scenery of small bridges and flowing water, cruise ships entering and exiting the bridge holes, and tourists' joy. Lu Gaojian's sauce duck making skills have been identified as Jiaxing's intangible cultural heritage and have a story behind them.
Of course you have to try the local specialties when you come to Jiaxing. After looking at the must-eat list, I found that Yuehe has a lot of food. I chose this century-old restaurant next to Yuehe Pier. The "Lu Gaojian Braised Duck" tastes good and should be considered the top local specialty in Jiaxing. The "Crispy Pan-fried Rice Cake" is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, soft and fragrant when eaten, and very delicious with Thousand Island sauce. The "Preserved Meat Combination" took a little long to steam, so long that I had to wait a long time after all the other dishes were finished, but it tasted good, especially the pig head meat inside. No one can understand my obsession with Jiaxing! 💗~ Another weekend getaway is on the horizon. This time, I completely relaxed at the Lanxiu Garden Kaiyuan Guantang Hotel, and didn't want to leave!
Entering the hotel felt like stepping into a traditional Jiangnan landscape painting 🏮—pavilions, ponds, winding bridges, artificial hills, greenery, antique calligraphy and paintings—everywhere you look, you could take a stunning, ethereal photo in the style of traditional Chinese painting 🎋.
The deluxe suites are perfect for families with children, with two spacious bedrooms, allowing the whole family to feel completely at ease. The modern Chinese style exudes sophistication, cleverly incorporating art pieces 🖼️. The room was filled with the fragrance of osmanthus blossoms, and the welcome fruit hinted at the sweetness of autumn. Opening the window, every breath felt like an intimate embrace with Nanhu Lake.

There are countless Wufangzhai stores in Jiaxing. The Wufangzhai in the highway service area is right next to the dining area. It is an independent store with a lot of space. In addition to catering services, it is also a brand display and pickup area. The prices are a bit higher than in the city, and the variety is more limited. The flavors of the zongzi are quite complete. If you didn't have time to go to Jiaxing, it's a good place to buy some souvenirs.
It is a long-established brand of Zongzi. When I went to Jiaxing, it happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival, so I went to Wufangzhai for breakfast. I felt it was quite good. And now there are various flavors of Internet-famous Zongzi, which taste pretty good. The price is certainly not cheap.
