I booked this place after reading other tourists' reviews when I visited Taohuatan, and I wasn't disappointed. The owners, a husband and wife, were very nice. We booked a double room, but because an elderly person in our family made a last-minute request, the owners changed it to a twin room. The owners were very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. Although it's a guesthouse, the environment is better than a chain hotel. The breakfast was plentiful, and it's worth recommending. It's also very close to the Taohuatan scenic area.

It&#39;s a very distinctive ancient town. Many art students come here to sketch. It&#39;s worth a visit, but if you&#39;re not an art student, the entrance fee seems a bit expensive from a purely recreational standpoint. It&#39;s not great value for money. It&#39;s worth checking out if you&#39;re driving and happen to be passing by, but there&#39;s really no point in making a special trip for it. There are just too many other options in southern Anhui and the Wuyuan area.

The ancient village is well worth a visit. I went to Chazhi during the Spring Festival and saw the Zhanqi Fish Lantern Festival, which was full of folk customs. It&#39;s just that it can be very crowded, so be prepared. Nearby Chengkan is also a great place worth a visit.

As soon as I entered the village, I felt like I had traveled back to ancient times. The memorial archway at the entrance of the village stood silently, as if telling a story that had lasted for thousands of years. Walking on the stone road, the sound of &quot;da da&quot; under my feet, along with the sound of the gurgling stream, seemed like a piece of music from the depths of time.

The ancient buildings in the village are well preserved. The unique white walls and black tiles of the Hui-style buildings are incredibly beautiful against the backdrop of green mountains and green waters. Every wood carving, stone carving, and brick carving are extremely exquisite. Flowers, birds, fish, insects, and stories of people are vivid under the skillful hands of the craftsmen. It is hard to imagine how much effort was spent back then.

What surprised me most was the atmosphere of life here. There were aunties washing clothes by the stream, children laughing and chasing in the alley, and uncles sitting at the door leisurely smoking dry tobacco, which was completely different from the fast pace of the city and made people relax instantly.
