The scenery is beautiful, and you can get a digital copy for taking photos. After our trip, I'm going to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park tomorrow. I highly recommend this B&B, and I hope it's helpful for families traveling with me! It's called Warm House Xiaozhu. We originally didn't book this one, but noticed it while passing by. After comparing several options, we finally chose this one. The decor is lovely, and the owner and his wife are even better. They offer pick-up and drop-off at the East Gate, are very responsive, and can even help with ticket bookings. All in all, it's just lacking a bit of online marketing, but everything else is perfect!
Tianmen Mountain is privately contracted, so canceling your reservation will result in a loss. The 999 steps are nice, and there's an escalator. It costs 32 yuan per person. The highest point on the east line, Beifu Tianmen, is worth a visit.

The scenic spot is beautiful, and the scenery on the top of the mountain is amazing, but it is also quite tiring. The inn we stayed in was also very comfortable, called Fanjingshan Yilu Harbor B&B. I will definitely stay there again in spring next time I come. I highly recommend it! ! ! Go guys~

We took the high-speed rail from Guiyang to the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. There were not many people there, and the park was beautiful and clean. Wolongtan was like an emerald, with many large and small waterfalls. The water was very clear, which attracted many tourists to stop and take pictures. It was just too tiring, and we couldn't see or walk all the way there. In short, it is a place worth visiting.
The scenery is beautiful, but the walking time is too long. The estimated tour time is 3 hours, but the actual parking time is 5 and a half hours. The scenic area has 20,000 steps... It takes about an hour to get to the North Gate of Miao Village by bus from Kaili South Station. If you like taking photos, you can go there. It is very photogenic and the night view is beautiful. The facilities are complete and it will be more comfortable to go there when there are fewer people in the off-season.
It has always been said that this place is heavily commercialized, but it is really suitable for girls traveling alone. I suggest that you don't bring a suitcase, just a simple backpack, and choose to come in the morning during the off-season. On 9/1, take the 9:19 Guiyang North-Kaili West train. After exiting the station, choose a business shuttle bus (40/person, 8 people per bus). Arrive at the North Gate at 11:00 and see the 12 welcoming wines. There is no need to queue at the door. I originally planned to leave from the North Gate, but wanted to see the Big Crown, so I spent two more tickets (5+5 yuan) to return from the West Gate. Stay at Tuishan and Shanxun Panoramic B&B (Dongyin Observation Deck Miao Museum Branch) 👍🏻 Sinai Film Miao Photography is very recommended 👍🏻 Miao-flavored chef's sour soup fish is delicious 👍🏻 There are many performances in the village. I saw them at Lusheng Square at 14:00 and at Collar Square at 15:45 when I passed by, although I didn't quite understand what they meant 😆 The Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a great experience. In recent years, I've taken night cruises in Zhenyuan, Guangzhou, the Pearl River, Chengdu, Ningbo, Nanning, and Chongqing. Guilin's bus was the most expensive, and the experience was also the best. Ningbo's 110 bus was the worst. Besides the lights on both sides of the Three Rivers and Two Lakes night cruise, each bridge we passed had its own unique character. The pier was right at the end of the pedestrian street, and we even watched the waterfall hotel release water. It was quite unique and a must-see in Guilin. We stayed at the Guilin Hotel and walked back directly after the tour; it was very close.
The route was very smooth, making it difficult to get seasick. The refreshments on board were also good. However, it's easy to mistakenly think of the "Two Rivers and Four Lakes" route when purchasing it! In fact, this route only covers the four lakes, and it goes back and forth to the Riyue Bay pier. The guide's voice was too quiet to hear clearly. The night views on both sides were beautiful, and although the trip lasted less than an hour, I still felt like I wanted more.

The park is not very big, probably because it is summer vacation and it is the landmark of Guilin. When I went in at 17:30 in the afternoon, I was shocked by the crowds of people at the photo booth. It was a pity that I couldn't play in the water in the water area.
Visiting Elephant Mountain during a downpour is a unique experience. It's not without its crowds, but it's definitely better than on a sunny day. Free reservations are available. Enter through Gate 3, scan the QR code, and follow the trails to Love Island, then Elephant Mountain. We took a bamboo raft for 50 yuan per person, circling the mountain twice, and took photos with the ospreys (10 yuan for both). Finally, we exited through Gate 1 and strolled back to the hotel.
