Hiking around Huahu Lake was truly wonderful! The shimmering waves, the shadows of clouds, the snow-capped mountains, the grasslands, the chirping of gulls. The plank path around the lake only feels like 4 kilometers, but it's best to allow 4 hours for leisurely photo opportunities and strolling. This perfect experience was also thanks to our driver, Ma Yong, who brought us to Huahu Lake. To borrow a child's heartfelt compliment, "The driver is incredibly well-educated and well-mannered." I think large trucks make up at least 70% of the traffic on the road to Huahu Lake, making it challenging and demanding. Ma Yong has other plans tomorrow, but he never rushed us or set a time for our return trip. He was courteous and polite throughout. As a token of my gratitude, I gave Ma Yong a red envelope, but after several attempts to refuse it, he still refused. It's a shame. This is truly a small token of my appreciation. I wish Ma Yong peace, happiness, and success! Thank you!
Along the way, I met two families, both of whom came from Huahu. They stayed in Gannan for a week and felt that Huahu was worth visiting, especially for bringing children, because there were so many wild animals, various birds and fish, which gave a sense of natural history study.

The scenery is stunning and the hike is easy. The low altitude makes it easy to get up close, like a miniature Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. It's a truly wonderful place. I hope the scenic area can preserve this beautiful scenery. I noticed some areas of the water were covered in dust, and I hope they'll protect it more and prevent human pollution. Especially, I'm worried about people entering the colorful pools. It's heartbreaking to see people having water fights there.

I can only say that the scenic area is very large and driving is relatively convenient. However, since we chartered a car, we were unable to go further after a certain point, which was really disappointing. We had to take the scenic bus instead. The scenic area is well-managed, no problem, but the experience was still not good. It's a two-hour drive from Baoji City. The weather is good, ranging from cool to cold. It's a good weekend trip, but this weekend it rained and was a bit cold. The cloudy weather made it impossible to take beautiful photos. The smell of cow, horse, and sheep manure was overwhelming, which was a lifesaver.
This was my second time at Guanshan Ranch, originally for the zipline. My kids had been there a few years ago and loved it, so now that they're grown, I wanted to try it again. Unexpectedly, the equipment is closed for maintenance until 2025. We each took a set of travel photos for Guanshan. The grasslands are photogenic, especially for the kids; every one is a masterpiece. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Guanshan Grassland and the herds of cattle and horses.
We found a small restaurant for lunch. It was really busy during peak season, so there was no shortage of customers, but the food was quite perfunctory. It was a bit overcast when we arrived, so the sun wasn't directly shining, but it was still very hot. We arrived at 10:40 AM and it was a cool 20 degrees.

Upon entering, I took a shuttle bus to Panda Pavilions 1 and 2, where I visited takins, crested ibis, vultures, golden monkeys, black bears, and more. The animals were all incredibly plump and shiny, seemingly well-treated.
The park is very large. There are elementary school students in summer camp. It seems that the keepers love giant pandas very much, but there is little publicity. The park is not very popular. Even if the keepers want to protect the national treasures, they feel powerless. I hope the park leaders will pay attention to the park publicity, boost the surrounding economy, and strive for better growth conditions for the national treasures. I call on parents to educate their children to love animals from an early age and not to fight or make noise.
