This hot spring hotel is near the famous Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama. It is quite famous and has a sense of history. The Japanese food is very delicious. It is surrounded by mountains and the air quality is very good. The sheets and beds are also very comfortable, which is different from sleeping on the floor in China.

Tip: Bring your own set of towels and you can enjoy the outdoor onsen for 1,000 yen: there is a free shuttle service from here to Kurama Station, which takes about 15 minutes. If you want to enjoy the spectacular mountain view, get here before dark. At night, you can enjoy the starry sky while soaking in the onsen.
The hot spring baths at Kurama are a true escape from the hustle and bustle - peaceful, bright, and with fantastic mountain views. As visitors there, we were able to enter the hot springs late at night without the noise. I was just enjoying myself most of the time.
