Mount Yi, located at the eastern end of the Taishan-Lushan-Yishan Mountains in Shandong Province, at the junction of Linqu, Yishui, and Yiyuan, boasts majestic grandeur, beautiful scenery, and diverse forms. It's often called "Mount Tai the Grandest of the Five Sacred Mountains, and Mount Yi the Grandest of the Five Towns." Its main peak, also known as Jade Emperor Peak, rises 1,031 meters. The Baizhang Cliff Waterfall, east of Jade Emperor Peak, boasts a spectacular 65-meter drop. I happened to be participating in the Linqu Half Marathon, and with a winning SMS message, I decided to visit Mount Yi on National Day. Looking back, it was a truly worthwhile trip. With its sparse crowds, beautiful scenery, and fresh air, and ample parking, it's a perfect destination for families. The round-trip ticket costs 30 yuan, and there are cable cars, slides, and rafting available, providing a rich and varied experience.
