I finally arrived at Liujia Gorge in August this year, a place I had longed to visit. This is a dam built in the 1950s on the upper reaches of the Yellow River for power generation. It is also a great place for tourism. There are several highlights: one: the dam of the reservoir, two: Bingling Lake, three: Bingling Temple, and four: the reservoir viewing platform. You can't miss any of them when you visit here. They are all great. Be sure to take a boat to see the confluence of the Yellow River and the Tao River, one clear and one flooded.
