Qianlingsi Grottoes are located in the accumulation of stone mountains on the north bank of the Yellow River, 50 kilometers west of Yongjing County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, and are located in the intersection of Tangyu Ancient Road, Yuzhong Road, Silk Road, and Daxia River, Yuhe River, Yellow River and other important water systems. The Grottoes of Qianling Temple were built in the early years of Xijin and officially established in the first year of Xiqin Jianye. They have been continuously excavated, built, repaired and expanded in the Northern Wei, Beizhou, Yuan, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing generations. The 169th cave is represented by the ink book title of the "First Year of Construction" in the north wall of the cave, which is the earliest cave with clear chronological portrait title. The statue of the Wuyi Shou Buddha sitting in the cave has a strong exotic color, which is one of the earliest physical data of the Wuyi Shou Buddha seen at present, and the two Buddhas of Sakya Duobao and sitting pictures of the pioneering meaning. The caves 126, 128, 132 are represented, fully reflecting the Central Plains Buddhist art style of Xiugu Qing statue and clothes-clothes belt. The Grottoes of Qianling Temple include all kinds of Buddhist themes and artistic styles in Han and Tibetans. The art forms such as strong swords, high noses, clear bones, and clothes-clothes belt are all gathered here. It is an important representative of Chinese grotto art and is known as the "Encyclopedia of Chinese grottoes".
