I made a special trip to Shiyan to see the maple leaves on November 10th. Unfortunately, it rained continuously a few days ago, and most of the red leaves on the mountain had fallen. Looking around the entire mountain area, there were hardly any red leaves left. However, I could still feel the beauty and grandeur of Shiyan.
Hongye Shiyan is an unexpected and charming place, with beautiful scenery, rich cultural heritage, a down-to-earth atmosphere, and a lively atmosphere. Seniors can enjoy a relaxing trip, while young people can enjoy thrilling surfing. There are markets, performances, and reasonably priced restaurants.

Red Leaf Valley does have some red leaves, which turn a good color in early November. Combined with the morning mist over Xuanqiu Lake, it's quite beautiful. However, the scenic area isn't very large, just a small amount of mountains and water. Tickets are expensive, and the sightseeing bus isn't cheap either. During peak season, a visit can easily take an hour, but traffic jams can make it three hours. It's recommended to avoid traveling during holidays.

Jiuru Mountain is worth visiting again and again! Every step from the entrance to the exit is a surprise. The waterfalls are incredibly photogenic, and the mountain scenery at dusk is breathtakingly gentle. The staff are warm and attentive, even recommending less-traveled spots to avoid the crowds. This trip was absolutely worthwhile; a definite five-star rating!

I originally planned to go and see the "clearly divided" Yellow River estuary, but the queue for the boat was too long, so I gave up decisively. However, the Yellow River estuary adds 30,000 acres of new land every year, which is indeed amazing.
We went there in April, which is the off-season and there weren't many people and birds. We mainly went to see the mandarin duck hot pot. The scenic area is very large and you need to take a car to the pier. It is said that there are the most birds in December, so it is not cost-effective to go there on other days.

It was incredibly crowded, parking was difficult, and there were no staff directing traffic. Also, the ticket price was quite high, making it feel like poor value for money. The children's facilities inside were rather old, with many broken. However, the autumn scenery was beautiful, making it a great place for taking photos.
Inside the scenic area, there's a 4,700-year-old ginkgo tree that's well worth a look. When I arrived, the area wasn't crowded, and some parts were still undergoing renovations. I felt a bit tired before completing the entire tour, so I left. I bought my tickets on Ctrip; China Mobile users get a huge discount!

This is the best place in Shandong to view the autumn leaves. The best time to visit is between late October and early November. The trail is relatively flat and of moderate difficulty. The hike lasts about three hours and is easily accessible to most people.
Free admission for those over 60. The hike lasts about two hours, which is just the right amount of exercise for a hike. The scenery is definitely worth a visit, and the new entertainment facilities have been significantly expanded, making it a much more enjoyable experience.

Lingyan Temple is nestled in Lingyan Mountain, one of the twelve branches of Mount Tai. Surrounded by mountains, the valley is filled with ancient trees and flowing streams, resembling a paradise. The temple grounds are dotted with springs, including the Zhuoxi Spring, Shuanghe Spring, and Baihe Spring, as well as other famous springs such as Ganlu Spring and Jiasha Spring, whose clear waters flow year-round. Furthermore, in autumn, the temple's thousand-year-old ginkgo trees turn a brilliant golden yellow, a sight not to be missed.
Although the ginkgo leaves are almost all gone, walking on the fallen leaves is still beautiful. But once you enter the temple, you feel a sense of tranquility. On weekends, you can invite a few friends to Lingyan Temple to drink tea, chat, and eat vegetarian meals, allowing your hectic life to slow down.

If you're interested, you can buy a package ticket, and also a transportation package ticket, which includes pick-up and drop-off at each attraction, making it convenient and fast. Be sure to visit Hongji Bridge and the Prefectural Government Office, enjoy the local delicacies on the main street, and climb the ancient city wall from the south gate to the east gate.
It's very close to Shandong, and the electric cart drivers in Guangfu Ancient Town were very friendly. The fare of 30 yuan per person was very reasonable, and they stopped at all the scenic spots. It's 20 kilometers from Handan. I sampled Cizhou folk cuisine and passed by the Zhao Du Li Yan restaurant. 😃

As expected of a 5A-level scenic area, the cable car, electric vehicles, service staff, scenic area construction, and attraction maintenance are all excellent! The shaped rocks, entertainment projects, and greenery are all well worth seeing; nature's brushstrokes are truly beautiful!
Last week, I hiked Baishi Mountain with friends. Both entrance parking lots were ample, and the 265 yuan fee included the entrance fee and a round-trip cable car ride. The scenic route is quite flexible, with round-trip tours available from the east and west gates, as well as one-way tours. The only downside is that you'll need to take a 30 yuan bus back to the parking lot after descending the mountain. Besides, the scenery is fantastic for relaxing in autumn! The fading colors of the forest are incredibly soothing, and the key is being able to immerse yourself in the scenery without the crowds. As a World Geopark, the carved marble peaks are truly breathtaking, and walking on the suspended plank road feels like walking on clouds. Excellent!
