I saw two different types of Tulou (earthen buildings) in Fujian. They were slightly different. This one, besides still boasting beautiful scenery, felt richer in cultural significance and more worthy of careful appreciation.
I came directly from Yunshuiyao. It wasn't crowded here, so I felt it was the best experience. The Chengqi Tulou (King of Tulou) is huge, and there are several other tulou (earthen buildings) nearby, so walking around wasn't tiring at all. It's definitely worth a visit.

I wanted to come two years ago, but some spots were closed because the scenic area was preparing to upgrade to 5A. Now that it's finished, I took advantage of the good weather to come and visit, and I was not disappointed!
Guanzhai Mountain & Shimen Lake
Guanzhai Mountain is famous for its typical Danxia landform. Its main peak resembles the "Xiezhi crown" worn by ancient imperial censors, hence the name "Guanzhai." The scenic area includes Guanzhai Mountain, Shimen Lake, Zhuanzhai Village, and Jiulong Lake, and is renowned as "Northern Yi and Southern Guanzhai, two wonders of Danxia."
📍Upon entering the park, first take a boat🚢 to tour Shimen Lake, then take a three-story escalator up the mountain, descend to the West Gate, and take a shuttle bus back to the visitor center parking lot🅿️.
Liancheng, Fujian, is one of the important settlements and origins of the Hakka people, and the Guanzhai Mountain area is dotted with numerous landscapes related to Hakka culture.
The scenic area has an aerial performance (flying cars, flying acrobatics) every half hour. Today there were very few people, and the staff thought there wouldn't be a performance because there were no people. When we asked, they actually put on a show just for the two of us!👍 Thank you!😍
The scenery at the top of the mountain is beautiful, but the descent is also expensive. Even at a leisurely pace, it took us 4 hours to explore.

Climbing to the top of Jichuanmen offers a panoramic view of the entire ancient city. At Baxi Tower, there's a performance at 11 am; the second and third floors offer Baxi experiences. Overall, leisurely strolling through the tower is more comfortable than experiencing the attractions. The Dafudi Residence outside Baxi Tower is a pleasant surprise; the building isn't large, but it's incredibly exquisite. The riverside balcony on the second floor is truly delightful. The carvings inside are exquisite.
Love it here! Very ancient charm. I really like it. Introduced by a friend, the network did not have much introduction, not found by too many friends, it is very casual, mainly a balcony, spacious and comfortable, can be touched by the sun to the room will not be too bad. Very close to the attractions, many live broadcasts, the reality is a bit big, friends recognize the place, I think it must be very good!

We happened to be having a discount on tickets for the scenic area, and Louwang lived up to its reputation. We first climbed to the top of the observation deck and then walked down, which took some effort. Turning right was actually a flat and easy road. The square at Louwang was full of people selling tickets and giving tours. I guess the prices were quite steep, and the arguments there really affected the reputation of the scenic area.
Fujian Tulou, a treasure of traditional folk houses, shows the profound cultural heritage of the Chinese nation with its unique form and color. These castles built of mud and stone have profound historical and cultural connotations. Each Tulou tells a unique story and inherits the rich folk culture of Fujian.

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom and the tea garden is well-proportioned! The pink petals dotted on the ground and the blue sky are a perfect contrast! The pink heart 💕 carved pillars allow couples or young girls to witness the true meaning of love!
Because we decided to go there on a whim, we didn't arrive until 5pm. The customer service number was hard to get through, but we got a number from somewhere else. Fortunately, the customer service told us to go directly to the second parking lot. We walked a short distance from the entrance to the train. The park is quite large, and we don't like to walk far, but the train alone is very beautiful.
