If the weather is good, it's a scenic area that's not tiring despite the expense. The trails are gentle and short, suitable for families, and the scenery is beautiful. Whether you see the snow mountain depends on luck; I didn't see any in rainy or snowy weather, so I can't comment on that. The price is relatively high.
The Gongga Hailuogou Scenic Area is a natural wonder that combines glaciers, snow-capped mountains, forests, and hot springs. The following review will explore its charm from various perspectives. 🌄 Gongga Hailuogou: A Wonderland Where Glaciers and Hot Springs Intertwine Overall Rating: 4.3/5 Located in Moxi Town, Luding County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, the Gongga Hailuogou Scenic Area, a National 5A-level tourist attraction, is renowned for its low-altitude modern glaciers, majestic icefalls, abundant hot springs, and unique red rock beaches. It is an ideal place to experience Mount Gongga, the "King of Sichuan Mountains." ✨ Scenic Spot Highlights - Rare Low-Altitude Maritime Glaciers: Hailuogou boasts the lowest modern glaciers in Asia (at just 2,850 meters). These glaciers coexist with pristine forests, creating the spectacular "Green Sea of Glaciers." Visitors can experience the glaciers up close without having to endure the discomfort of extreme altitude. - Spectacular Icefall: The scenic area's Icefall stands 1,080 meters high and approximately 1,100 meters wide, far exceeding the Huangguoshu Waterfall in scale and creating a truly stunning visual impact. On clear days, the icefall shimmers in the sunlight, and at night, it can be bathed in a blue glow, creating a breathtaking spectacle. - A unique blend of natural landscapes: The scenic area boasts a diverse landscape of glaciers, hot springs, primeval forests, and red rock beaches. The red rock beaches are covered in Jolly Orange algae, giving the rocks a vibrant red hue that stands out against the snow or streams. Natural hot springs, such as Gongga Shentang Hot Spring, are rich in minerals and offer visitors a chance to soak in the warmth amidst the ice and snow. - A prime spot for viewing Mount Gongga: From the viewing platform at Camp 4, visitors can get a close-up view of Mount Gongga's main peak, 7,556 meters, and its 45 satellite peaks, each over 6,000 meters. The "sunlight on the golden mountain" at sunrise is particularly spectacular. 📌 Useful Information Tickets and Opening Hours: - Recommended Ticket Prices: Entrance fee 90 RMB/person, Sightseeing Bus 70 RMB/person (round-trip), Cable Car 135 RMB/person (round-trip). Combination ticket packages are available. - Opening Hours: Summer (May 1st to October 31st) generally open from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; Winter (November 11th to April 30th) generally open from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Specific hours are subject to change, so please check official information before your trip. - Official Contact Information: For ticket inquiries, please call 0836-3268893. Recommended Itinerary: From the Visitor Center, take a sightseeing bus to Ganheba, then take the cable car to Camp 4 to view the glacier and Mount Gongga. Return to Ganheba and visit attractions such as Caohaizi and Chengmen Cave. If you have more time, you can enjoy the scenic hot springs. 💎 Trip Summary The Gongga Hailuogou Scenic Area, with its unique landscape and abundant natural resources, offers visitors a rare experience. Whether admiring magnificent glaciers and snow-capped mountains or enjoying relaxing hot springs, there's something for every taste.

Luding Bridge is an important node of the Red Army's Long March. The Red Army broke through the enemy's blockade here and opened the road to the north. Today, walking on Luding Bridge, you can feel the swaying of the bridge. Luding Bridge is in the core of Luding County, the surrounding area is very prosperous, and shopping and accommodation are also very convenient.
Luding Bridge is located at No. 27 Yongshi Road, Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It was built in the 45th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign in the Qing Dynasty. Emperor Kangxi inscribed "Luding Bridge" on a monument at the bridgehead. The bridge is 103 meters long and 3 meters wide. 13 iron chains are fixed on both sides of the Dadu River. 12,164 iron rings are interlocked. The entire bridge weighs more than 40 tons. The bridgehead is an ancient wooden structure with a unique style and appearance unique to China. It is now only used as a viewing bridge. It is now a national 4A-level scenic spot.
