The park is quite big, can spend 3-4 hours sightseeing/hiking there. There’s plenty of toilets and food stalls inside. Blue Tears can be viewed outside the park, lights turn on around 18:20 (November)
A living legend, the wisdom of the ancients—worth a visit. I suggest going from top to bottom, which is less strenuous, and then spending 10 yuan to take an electric cart. Hiring a guide would be even better.

It's pretty good. The air on the mountain is very fresh. If you're going for the hike, I wouldn't recommend the cable car; the queue is two hours long, while the cable car ride is only five minutes. Of course, it depends on the situation. It gets very crowded during the summer holidays. This is just for your reference.
Qingcheng Mountain is a secluded and tranquil place, lush with greenery, shrouded in mist, and filled with fresh, invigorating air. Its peaks rise one after another, covered in verdant forests that remain evergreen year-round. The surrounding peaks resemble a fortified city, and the scenic area is deep and serene, hence the reputation of "Qingcheng, the most secluded place under heaven." Another theory about the origin of the mountain's name is that during the Tang Dynasty, a mistake in a written edict changed "Qingcheng" to "Qingcheng," supported by existing Tang Dynasty inscriptions.

It was perfect timing to catch the rime ice after school started, with the mountains and fields covered in white. Be aware of altitude sickness. The shuttle buses in the scenic area are fine, probably because there are fewer people in winter, the buses aren't crowded, and the departure intervals are relatively short.
Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area boasts beautiful scenery. The drive up the mountain is convenient, and you can easily visit all the classic sights on the way back. We arrived at the redwood forest in the morning just in time to see snow falling. Combined with the sunshine, the majestic snow-capped mountains in the distance looked even more magnificent!

I visited Bipenggou in Sichuan in November. The scenery was beautiful, with snow-capped mountains, forests, lakes, and waterfalls. The forests were ablaze with color, a breathtaking sight. I will definitely come back again.
The scenic area boasts beautiful scenery and is worth visiting, but reservations for mountain climbing are not available, transportation and parking within the area are inconvenient, and some nearby businesses engage in overcharging practices.

I went here on the same day as Dujiangyan, and arrived early in the morning. There weren't many pandas, but it wasn't crowded either. The environment was very nice, although the coffee inside was just average. You have to bring your own coffee, but the coffee cups are still nice for taking photos.

I chose this place between the Panda Garden and Panda Valley, mainly because it's close to my accommodation 😄. I was lucky; I saw many pandas active and eating. There are three main enclosures with both giant and red pandas.
We arrived at the panda park at 9 am. We saw the pandas leisurely strolling and eating bamboo. It was close enough to see them clearly. Having visited the panda breeding base in the city, this one felt much better! A complete loop takes only two hours on foot. Highly recommended!

The most fun panda trip ever. Complete freedom with the pandas. No queuing, no legwork, and close-up views of the pandas without any glass barriers. The pandas were lively and active, with few sleeping. The panda villas were all close together. Tickets were 90 yuan and could be bought on the spot, which was very convenient. Parking was convenient at 10 yuan per car. The park was well-planned, with excellent management and service. There were no unlicensed tour guides, and the commercial atmosphere within the park was minimal. The facilities outside the park were complete. Very satisfied! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Although it was cold, the weather was exceptionally good. There was no rain or snow, and the sun shone occasionally. There weren't many people on a weekday, and I saw the cats that came out several times. The surrounding mountain scenery was also very beautiful!

Mugecuo Scenic Area is a dazzling pearl of the Western Sichuan Plateau, offering a breathtaking experience of the changing seasons in just one day! A half-hour drive from Kangding city brings you directly to the scenic area, where a sightseeing bus takes you to the sacred Mugecuo Lake at an altitude of 3780 meters. The first glimpse is breathtakingly beautiful – the lake, nestled amidst snow-capped mountains, is as clear as a mirror. Boats glide across its shimmering surface, with the distant Gongga Snow Mountain appearing and disappearing in the distance. Every snapshot looks like a National Geographic masterpiece. Hiking along the lakeside boardwalk, you might encounter swings and withered trees on a golden sandy beach, adding to the exotic atmosphere. In late autumn, colorful forests intertwine with the first snow, the red and yellow foliage contrasting beautifully with the white peaks, creating a cool and poetic scene. In the café, the reflection of the snow-capped mountains in the floor-to-ceiling windows and the warm-toned interior create a soothing and therapeutic ambiance. Don't miss the medicinal hot springs along the way down the mountain; eggs cooked in the natural hot springs are tender and runny, and a foot soak will dispel the high-altitude chill. Plus, you'll find adorable marmots peeking out, their cuteness melting hearts. Passing the Red Stone Beach, the orange algae-covered rocks become even more vibrant in the rain and mist. Along the primeval forest boardwalk, squirrels dart among the moss-covered ancient trees, making it feel like stepping into a fairytale wonderland. Upon arriving at Seven-Colored Lake, the crescent-shaped lake ripples with seven colors depending on the light. The viewing platform surrounded by forests and meadows offers photos that look like a mini-Jiuzhaigou. No matter when you visit, Mugecuo offers surprises: summer for escaping the heat and breathing in fresh air, autumn for breathtaking colorful forests, and winter for a magical blue ice wonderland. Coupled with the romantic atmosphere of the poem "Kangding Love Song," this high-altitude paradise is definitely worth adding to your must-visit list! 🚗💨 (Tips: Snow chains are needed on some sections in winter; it is recommended to bring a windproof jacket and sunscreen, and have oxygen cylinders to cope with altitude sickness.)
The scenery was beautiful, though there was a lot of fog that day. There was also a wonderful singing and dancing performance by Tibetan beauties and young men. On a clear day, the entire snow-capped mountain is reflected in the lake, which is absolutely gorgeous. Seeing this lake made me very happy.

The scenery is nice. The Yellow River makes a 180-degree turn, and where the Bai River merges into the Yellow River, you can take an elevator to the top of the mountain. The scenery is great, but the altitude here is relatively high. There is only an elevator going up the mountain, and there are more than a thousand steps going down the mountain. My legs were weak after coming down.
The view is stunning. You can drive into the scenic area, check your ticket, and then take the 14th-floor elevator to the observation tower. The only thing I wasn't happy with was that the escalator only goes up, so you have to walk down the stairs to go down, which is really hard on your knees!

🚙While driving along a side road, the navigation suddenly veered off into a road hidden in the snow-capped mountains—and there we stumbled upon a manor, houses that seemed to have sprung from the forest, rooms converted from traditional Tibetan houses with snow-capped peaks right outside the windows 🏔️ ✅The private hot spring bath ♨️ faces the snow-capped mountains 🏔️. Soaking in the bath 🛁 while watching the sunset paint the mountainsides red, even the Tibetan hot pot 🍲 for dinner was infused with the aroma of pine needles. We ate while watching the clouds roll down from the mountain peaks. In the evening, we even joined the locals in Yangronghade for a Guozhuang dance. The sweetness of the butter tea 🫖 mingled with laughter—this must be the staycation of the people of Western Sichuan ⛱️!
Did not really see glacier, but it is 4860m above sea level, not for the faint hearted.
