The Portuguese cuisine in Macau is not authentic Portuguese cuisine. The Portuguese traveled across the sea and collected spices and cooking techniques along the way. They combined Portugal, Africa, and Southeast Asia, and finally integrated Macau’s local ingredients and cooking, gradually forming a special cuisine. It’s called Portuguese cuisine.
