The seaplane is beautiful, but I will never take it again.
The first time I went to Maldives, I wanted to experience the characteristics and see the beautiful scenery, so I chose to take a seaplane to the island, but! I will never choose a seaplane island again next time!
The main attraction is that it is stuffy, hot, noisy and smelly. I suggest that people who are prone to motion sickness and sensitive to smells should not try it. The diesel smell + noise + stuffiness, and the seaplane that lasts more than 20 minutes is really unbearable. We flew to the island for almost an hour, and I was almost exhausted.
Although it is indeed beautiful from above, I think you can also see and take beautiful photos when you are about to arrive in Male by plane (p2 is what I took on the plane). It is not worth the suffering. It took me a long time to recover after arriving on the island.
There is nothing wrong with seaplanes in the Maldives except that they are expensive. They are convenient.

It was originally a palace built by Sultan Shamsuddin III for his son, replacing the old palace in the mid-17th century; after the Sultan and his son were deposed in 1936, it was nationalized and turned into a private residence. During World War II, vegetables were grown in the garden; after Maldives became a republic within the Commonwealth in 1952, it became the presidential residence. The new presidential residence was built in 1994 and is now mostly used as an office.
It is a combination of Islam and modern Western architectural styles. The blue and white style looks pretty good. You can only take pictures at the door, and there are no sentries.
Opposite is the Friday Mosque.

On my birthday trip in 2017, I chose to visit Amari Island in Maldives. Madai is one of my dream places to travel. When I chose the island, I also consulted a lot of information. I chose the following factors to consider. Five star islands are far from the capital Male (less pollution, relatively quiet). So a friend working in a travel agency recommended this island to me. Amari Havodda is located in the southernmost atoll of Maldives, which is in line with my heart. I read the information and compared the prices of the three travel agencies. Finally, I ordered a set meal on the island from my friend's company. Cathay Pacific ticket, 4 nights accommodation on Amari Island and packed meals. A total of 26760 yuan for two people. When we flew from Hong Kong to Male, an Amari Island employee came to pick up the plane and took us to the next flight. There are self-help refreshments in the lounge. After more than an hour's rest, we fly to KAADEDHDHOO. Then we are picked up by a speedboat to Amari Island. At the same time, besides us, there are two newly married couples who come to receive us.
