At the foot of the Pyramid of the Sun, my heartbeat gradually accelerated. That towering body still stands tall in the long river of history, as if telling the glory and tragedy of ancient civilization. I climbed slowly, my eyes passed through the mist of history, and imagined the people who once lived here. How did they create miracles on this land, and how did they face the changes of time? Looking down from the top, the vast Avenue of the Dead stretched out in front of me, making me feel a sense of historical heaviness and loneliness. The Pyramid of the Moon stood quietly in the distance. Although it was not as majestic as the Pyramid of the Sun, it had a unique mystery. The inclination angle of each step was different, which seemed to imply the complexity of time and life. On this ancient relic, I saw the unyielding pursuit of the human spirit. Every stone was full of stories, telling of yearning and faith. At this moment, I met the soul of this land, intoxicated in the morning light, and my heart was filled with an indescribable touch. Mexico, this bright country, brings me a new perspective and experience. It taught me how to communicate with the past and how to find my place in the long river of history.
Before the Spanish invaded Mexico, this land had nurtured civilizations for thousands of years, including the Olmec, Maya, Teotihuacan, Toltec, and Aztec. Teotihuacan, located near Mexico City, is one of them. one. The Teotihuacan civilization began around 200 BC and was located in what is now central Mexico. It was an ancient Indian civilization that existed at about the same time as the Mayan civilization. The Teotihuacans built a city with a population of about 50,000 between 1 AD and 150 AD. It was the earliest urban-level settlement in the entire Americas. They also built many pyramids at the same time. Today's Teotihuacan is 50 kilometers away from Mexico City, about an hour's drive away. It contains some of the largest pyramid structures built in pre-Columbian America - the Pyramid of the Sun, built around the 2nd century AD and the third largest in the world. The Great Pyramid has a square base of 225 meters x 222 meters and a five-story tower with a total height of 63 meters. The Sun Pyramid is in the east, and the Moon Pyramid is in the north. It was built about 200 years later than the Sun Pyramid. The base of the tower is 150 meters × 120 meters. The four-story tower is 46 meters tall and has a volume of 380,000 cubic meters. There are many small pyramids around, symbolizing stars ✨. Running through the entire complex is the Avenue of the Dead, the essence of Mexican culture. Unlike the Egyptian pyramids, Teotihuacan was not a pharaoh's tomb but a city wall. The city is thought to have been founded around 100 BC. At its peak, Teotihuacan was the largest city in pre-Columbian America. The Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon are places of worship. I didn’t go with a group, so I directly hailed a car on Uber, departing from reforma for 799peso in 1 hour. When I arrived, I asked the driver to pick me up in 2 hours. Entering the scenic spot, I found a tour guide to explain it, and generously gave me 600 peso. Along the way, in addition to introducing the pyramids, I also talked about the conflict and integration of local culture and Spanish culture. The biggest advantage: freedom, no need to wait, high efficiency Tips: 1. The Internet in Mexico is underdeveloped, and the Internet speed is very poor outside Mexico City. It is recommended to download offline maps first. 2. If the locals don’t speak English well, they need to download translation software first. I used Google Translate to communicate with the driver. 3. There are no rentals near the pyramid. The bus arrives at Gate 1 and returns at Gate 2. 4. Uber cannot be connected. If you want to rent, you can only find a security guard or tour guide. The price is 1500peso. Friends who want to take a taxi must make arrangements with the driver to arrange their return to the city.

Teotihuacan is huge! There's more to Teotihuacan than just the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, which you have to climb up. This tourist attraction is so large that you may need to climb farther than it looks from the flat ground, with hundreds of steep steps leading to the top. Those ancient people were tough.
Compared to the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon is relatively lower and smaller. And you can only climb to the second-floor platform, not to the top of the pyramid. There is actually a tomb for human sacrifice behind the pyramid (I learned about it from the Mexico City Museum of Anthropology), but it is not accessible.

Mexico City Metro Line 6 (Red Line) to LA VILLA is the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. On weekends, before nine o'clock, local people brought their elderly and children, and some were in wheelchairs. Many adults came to baptize their babies. After getting off the subway, there is a road leading to the church, and shops on both sides of the road sell religious items. There are two old and new Basilicas of Our Lady in the courtyard. The old church is solemn and elegant, with stained glass windows, arches, and fine carvings, showing a strong religious color everywhere. The new church next to it is spacious and large in area. The roof is like a giant blue umbrella. There are no pillars in the hall, just like a music hall.
The Basilica of Our Lady of Guanajuato is the most conspicuous building in the entire old city. It is located in the center of the old city. Its yellow exterior walls and red roof can be recognized from a high altitude. It is also the most important church in Guanajuato. It has a history of more than 400 years and is a must-see attraction for tourists to Guanajuato.

I'm here# Pipila Monument Observation Deck A monument to a local hero. Because of its height, it is the best location to overlook the entire Frog City. As the saying goes, only when you climb high can you see far, which widens the perspective. The so-called colorful scenery is particularly obvious at this time. There are many ways to climb high. You can hike, take a taxi, or take the cable car next to the Juarez Theater like I did. Anyway, it's a different experience. It is recommended to watch the sunset in the evening. The lights in the city gradually light up and the stars are twinkling. It's a pretty good experience
Guanajuato's famous Pipila Monument is located on a hill south of the old city. The monument is very tall, with Pipila holding a torch, representing the Mexicans' spirit of independence. It is very spectacular and appealing. This is also the commanding height of Guanajuato. Standing here, you can overlook the entire old city, which is particularly beautiful.

It takes about 4 hours to go back and forth by boat to the Ghost Doll Island. You can go boating and visit the island to see what stories are behind the mottled dolls. All this will satisfy your curiosity! (Some fake doll islands are also for tourists to identify, and those cannot be landed on the island) [Origin of Doll Island] The Mexican Doll Island has always had a mysterious and strange charm. There are many ancient legends and stories surrounding this island and the nearby canals. One day in 1951, the Mexican gardener Julian heard the cry for help of a little girl drowning in a nearby canal. He immediately dared to rescue but still failed to save the girl's life. From then on, Julian would dream of the girl's ghost every night, hearing her painful screams and hurried footsteps. He believed that the girl's soul had not found peace, and he was in great pain for this. Until one day, Julian caught an old rag doll while fishing in the canal, and he thought it was a will from the underworld. In order to calm the ghost of the girl, he began to collect old dolls everywhere, which seemed to keep the ghost of the little girl away. He hung the old dolls he fished out of the canal on the tree on the island. Since then, curious people have continued to hang their old dolls, and it has become the current Ghost Doll Island. However, even so, it has attracted many local residents to visit, and now it has become a popular tourist attraction. If you like supernatural adventures, this is a good choice!
The Island of Dolls appeared in a reality show on Dragon TV. It's quite interesting. There are weird dolls everywhere, on trees, on roadsides and in houses. It makes people feel uncomfortable.

See the colorful world Guanajuato in Mexico, once famous for its silver mines, is now popular around the world because of the movie "Coco". As the prototype city of the movie, the colorful colors here are called "God's overturned palette". What also attracts me is the optimistic attitude of people facing death. Almost people all over the world are taboo about death, but only Mexicans talk about it with relish. They make fun of death and celebrate death. The skulls that can be seen everywhere are one of their favorite design elements. As the line in the movie says, "Death is not the end of life, forgetting is." The happiest thing in this life is that I remember you, and you have never forgotten me.
Guanajuato is a famous mountain city, and many of the streets here are underground, which is also determined by the terrain here. There are often several layers of roads on the same vertical plane, and each layer can be used by pedestrians or has shops, which feels particularly magical. Almost all navigation systems will fail here because you can't tell which layer you are driving on.

The Avenue of Kings is the road connecting the Sun Pyramid and the Moon Pyramid. It is about 2 kilometers long and the road is very wide. There are different temples on both sides. It is said that after a person dies, the soul will walk from the Sun Pyramid to the Moon Pyramid and enter the underworld. This legend has given this place a mysterious color.
The Avenue of the Dead is located at the entrance of Teotihuacan Scenic Area. A little to the east of the starting point is the Quetzalcoatl Pyramid. The end of the avenue is opposite the Pyramid of the Moon, and to the east of it about halfway is the Pyramid of the Sun. In addition to these three most famous pyramids, there are many relics scattered on both sides of the avenue, some famous and some unknown. In addition, there are many locals doing business, selling some tourist souvenirs. One thing to note is that this road is 2 or 3 kilometers long, with many changing views on both sides, but there is no means of sunshade, except for holding an umbrella or wearing a hat. The sun is still quite powerful in Mexico City in summer.

The concentration of scenic spots and the straightforward presentation of small shops greatly shortened the time for clocking in. Naturally, we also slowed down the pace of street sweeping, which made us less fun to explore and more relaxed. Sip a cup of fragrant coffee and linger on the noisy but not noisy streets. Mexicans really love music. Music is everywhere here, and street artists' impromptu performances can be seen everywhere. Although they are street artists, they are not slack in their dress, either in suits and ties or traditional costumes, which are in harmony with the surrounding monuments. Little do they know that they themselves have become the most down-to-earth scenery in the ancient city. The brightly lit night view is the most correct way to open Guanajuato. Sitting on the top platform of pipila early, looking forward to the magnificent view of the lights coming on, the wait is destined to be long. At this time, Youyou volunteered to sing a few Hangzhou operas, which entertained everyone and silently conveyed China's traditional culture to the world. As night falls, when the movie scenes are restored before our eyes, although we have expectations, our hearts are still mixed with excitement, satisfaction, and gratitude. We just stare at each other silently, drinking for a long time, and still never get tired of looking at each other.
This church is called the Church of San Miguel the Archangel and is very large. You can visit the church during the day and watch the light show at night. The show is very exciting and the lights are bright. It is definitely worth a visit.

We came to the art museum on a sunny day. Coincidentally, there were very few tourists that day, only a few tourists in twos and threes, so we enjoyed absolute quietness and comfort.
Querétaro is a state in central Mexico. The capital is Santiago de Querétaro, but the word Querétaro is often used to refer to the city. It is known as the cleanest city in Mexico. Most of the attractions are located in the historic area listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site, with colonial buildings, luxurious municipal and religious Barolo-style buildings.

The Juárez Theater is located in the center of Mexico City. It has a history of more than 200 years and is a colonial building. There is a small square in front of the theater. There are many tourists and street performances. The interior decoration of the theater is very luxurious, with a sense of luxury of a European aristocratic palace. Some classic operas are often performed here. If you have the opportunity, don't miss it.
The Juárez Theater is located in the center of Guanajuato, on one side of the Union Garden. For this small town, the theater is quite large, and the decoration inside is also very unique. If you don't watch the show, you can buy a ticket to visit it.
