We bought tickets for Route A, which allows direct access to the mountain via cable car from the city center. Our hotel was just a few minutes' walk from the cable car station. Upon arriving at the mountain, we transferred to a sightseeing bus to Tianmen Cave Square. We didn't buy tickets for the escalator; instead, we climbed the 999 steps to Tianmen Cave, then took the mountain-penetrating elevator. Next, we were divided into the East and West routes. We chose the West route, a challenge we couldn't imagine. I have a fear of heights. On the first glass walkway, I walked close to the wall. On the second walkway, I initially stayed close to the wall, but my partner encouraged me, and I walked straight to the middle without looking down, completing the walkway alone. Later, we challenged the suspension bridge. For the first time, I overcame my fear. The rest was just normal walking. There were hardly any steep climbs or thrills. Tianmen Mountain is very visitor-friendly; you hardly need to climb at all.
Visiting Tianmenshan in Nov is nice despite the cold when the wind blows. Enjoyed taking pictures of this mountain whether it’s from below or top of the mountain.

Zhangjiajie National Park was absolutely fabulous, and the little monkeys were incredibly cute. It’s very easy to walk around — it doesn’t require too much effort — and the view from the top of the elevator is breathtaking. Totally worth it! 10/10
Tutto bello ad accezione degli autobus che bisogna prendere per spostarsi da una zona all’altra. Gli autisti guidano troppo veloce sulle curve. Tante persone si sono sentite male. Il viaggio in autobus rischia di rovinare l’esperienza!!

The hotel boasts a great location and affordable prices. My two-night stay was excellent, and it's very convenient for getting around. In the evenings, you can easily walk to the Yellow Crane Tower, Hubu Alley snack street, Tanhualin, and the Yangtze River Bridge. The hotel's location on Liangdao Street is convenient, and the price is reasonable, making it a great value.
It gets extremely crowded during holidays, making it difficult to get upstairs; you have to wait in line for a long time. The scenery is also quite beautiful. After descending the tower, you can walk along the Yangtze River Bridge and take some stunning panoramic photos.

Although everyone says the 50 yuan price tag is bad value for money, it's something I learned about in elementary school, so I figured I should at least check it out. The riverside view is quite nice, though it gets very crowded, and climbing up is really tiring.
On the tenth day of the tenth lunar month, past the Minor Snow solar term, the leaves in the north had long since fallen, while the ancient city of Yuzhang in the south presented a completely different scene. In my youth, when I first learned the "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng," I only grasped its general meaning, not its true essence. Now, at thirty, I ascend the Pavilion of Prince Teng for the first time, astonished by its magnificent grandeur. Though my experiences are not as extensive as Wang Bo's, I can still feel his emotions. Standing atop the pavilion, gazing into the distance, the setting sun casts its golden light, the Gan River flows northward, seasons have changed, stars have shifted, but the green mountains remain. All the past events and tales are now just fodder for laughter!

This visit only opened the Mawangdui section of the museum. I was amazed by the craftsmanship and wisdom of the ancients: the 49g-thin outer gauze garment, the lacquerware, the artifacts—the most impressive of all was the coffin of Lady Xin Zhui, the main subject of the museum, with its exquisite and luxurious layers, the outer coffin being magnificent and solemn. The guide provided detailed explanations and took excellent care of me, making it a truly enjoyable visit. 👍
A fantastic museum with exquisite exhibits, especially the Mawangdui Han Tombs. Most visitors seem to come specifically for this. Reservations are required, but it seems you can also make on-site reservations; I'm not sure. However, those with reservations can use the fast track and enter very quickly. It's very crowded, and photography is not allowed at Mawangdui.

The location is excellent, making it convenient for sightseeing. It's also very quiet at night, with no noise from downstairs. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the staff are very friendly. Overall, a great experience!
Orange Isle is a famous scenic spot in Changsha, known for its Mao Zedong Youth Statue and the Xiangjiang River scenery. This was our first stop in Changsha, accompanying my elderly relatives. We bought night cruise tickets and a mini-train in advance through Ctrip. We took Metro Line 2 to Orange Isle, then transferred to the mini-train to take photos at the head of the isle. We arrived at the pier half an hour early to board the cruise. The entire trip took 70 minutes, and the Xiangjiang River light show was fantastic! 👍

Mount Lu is a famous scenic area and is definitely worth visiting. The Three-Tiered Spring, Five Old Men Peak, the site of the Lushan Conference, Meilu Villa, Fairy Cave, Little Heavenly Pool, Hanpokou, Ruqin Lake, and the Botanical Garden are all excellent attractions.
This is my second visit to Lushan. The service here is excellent. After landing, I took the airport bus to the South Gate of Lushan, and then the scenic area shuttle bus up the mountain. I stayed on the mountain for two nights, and the hotel owner picked me up and dropped me off. I always take the scenic bus when I travel; it's very convenient, and the price is quite reasonable. All famous mountains are managed this way. Taking the shuttle bus is safe, avoids traffic jams caused by private cars, and is very convenient. The service is very warm and welcoming. Lushan has a long history, and many famous people have visited, leaving behind many poems and photos. Touring the attractions by looking at the photos was enjoyable and educational.

The cultural atmosphere is rich, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. During the day, you can overlook the Xiangjiang River and Yuelu Mountain. In the evening, you can enjoy the golden sunset. At night, you can admire the magnificent lights of the surrounding city's high-rise buildings and the Xiangjiang Bridge across the river in the distance. It is truly breathtaking.
The last stop of the day was Du Fu Pavilion, which was illuminated at night and looked magnificent. Each floor had a different function, and you could also see Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain in the distance. The scenery was beautiful! 👍

The museum is free, just need to make a reservation. We arrived an hour before closing time, so it was very rushed, but the advantage was that we didn't have to queue to see the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue; we could just walk in. Unfortunately, we missed the chime bell performance. The gold artifacts of King Liangzhuang were absolutely stunning. We also managed to buy the souvenirs we wanted before closing time!
The experience was great. Although it was a bit crowded, the cultural relics were truly a feast for the eyes. The tour guide, Shu Ping, was also excellent; her pronunciation was clear, complete, and fluent. Highly recommended! 😍😍😍

I visited Yueyang Tower several decades ago when I was in college. Now retired, I returned this spring and recited, "It embraces distant mountains, swallows the Yangtze River, vast and boundless," which was still very pleasant. Senior citizen tickets have improved the cost-effectiveness of sightseeing for seniors!
I was planning to visit Yueyang Tower on my way from Changsha to Wuhan, but overall, I was just so-so. Having seen Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang before, it was noticeably inferior, and even less impressive than the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan; its fame is the only real advantage.
