Been wanting to visit this Daruma temple for the longest time. Initially been contemplating due to the distance from where i stayed, but still decided to go ahead with the plan. Did not regret a single bit. It was one of the highlight moments of the trip, the place is huge, clean and peaceful. a sense of serendipity coupled with the fantastic weather, made the whole experience even more satisfying. We spent a good 2-3 hrs at the shrine, soaking in the peacefulness. Will definitely bring the family back for another trip.

Katsuo-ji Temple is one of the most charming and peaceful places I&rsquo;ve ever visited. Tucked away in the mountains, the scenery is beautiful and calming &mdash; perfect for a relaxing escape from the city.What truly made the visit special was the daruma dolls &ndash; they are super, super, super cute and literally everywhere! Around every corner, in every nook, there&rsquo;s a daruma waiting to surprise you. It&rsquo;s like walking through a forest of wishes and hope. I couldn&#39;t stop smiling!Another thoughtful touch is the stamp postcard they provide &mdash; you can collect stamps from different spots around the temple grounds. It made the walk through the large area fun and engaging, so you won&rsquo;t feel tired at all!

I love Katsuoji Temple because it is a very cute temple with Daruma everywhere. Another important point is that the visit to Katsuoji Temple is very participatory. We can visit the temple by drawing lots, making wishes, stamping, etc.

Shengwei Temple is located in Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture. The hotel we stayed in is near Shinsaibashi. It takes about two hours from the hotel to here.
Although the journey is a bit far, the cute Daruma will make the trip worthwhile. If I use one word to describe my impression of Japanese temples: lively! Most Japanese temples are very beautiful, with flowers, trees, and courtyards, which are all very sophisticated. The pictures taken casually are all colorful, lively and fresh landscape paintings. Little Daruma &quot;plays&quot; in every corner of the temple, on stones, between tiles, and under waterfalls. These Daruma are placed freely by the praying people with good wishes. If you have enough time, you will find that the &quot;Dharma Kingdom&quot; is really very interesting. At the same time, I want to sigh that the people who come to pray for victory are really cute. A problem solved by a Daruma has to be placed together with other people&#39;s Daruma to interact, have a meeting, drink tea, watch the mountains and water, and be very comfortable~ You can buy Daruma of various sizes opposite the main hall, and the price is reasonable. It has no eyes when you buy it. When you make a wish, you first draw one eye for the Daruma, and then draw another eye when the wish comes true. Then you bring the Daruma back to the temple and put it there. It&#39;s very interesting. Not far from the temple, there is a place similar to a flower bed for making wishes. When making a wish, you have to walk in a circle from the entrance, walk to the center of the circle to make a wish, and then walk out a circle again. The exit is the same as the entrance. After making a wish, the weather suddenly cleared up and I was in a good mood! !
