The overall environment at the base was great. The temperature wasn't high in September, so the pandas were happy to be outdoors. The star panda, Huahua, was quite random in her schedule, so I didn't see her despite lining up for a spot, which was a slight disappointment. I saw quite a few other pandas, all very cute. There were many more pandas than at the North Gate, so I spent half a day entering through the South Gate and exiting through the North Gate. Overall, it was a good value.
The park is quite large, so I recommend taking the sightseeing bus. It costs 30 yuan per person and is very convenient, allowing you to get on and off at your destination. Although we entered the park at 11:00 AM, the pandas were already napping, so it's better to arrive early.

Without scientific knowledge to guide them, the ancients relied on careful observation and analysis, and continuously improved upon them to build magnificent water conservancy projects. This is truly admirable and worth learning from. The view from the top of the mountain is even more spectacular. I took the official guided tour, but the experience was truly mediocre. While there was a guide, it felt like the guide barely spoke a word. For a short distance, we had to queue for an electric car, which actually took longer than the walk to Yuzui. But that's fine, since we were all traveling together, we just rode together. After a brief explanation at Yuzui, the guide immediately asked everyone to hand over their headphones, refused to answer any questions, and hurried off. The guide fee was 40 yuan per person, and there were eight small groups, some with two and some with three. Let's assume the average number was two people, that's 640 yuan for 16 people, for just one hour. The guide honestly didn't want to spend even a minute with us. Crossing the river and climbing the mountain on our own, walking the plank path, was also quite interesting. I doubt I'll be going back, and even if I do, I won't be using the official guide.
It's well worth a return visit to experience the wisdom of the ancients' water conservancy projects, which, after more than 2,000 years of design and construction, still benefit the people of Chengdu. Next time, during the winter months of November and December, the water will be even clearer.

I've always been in awe and intrigued by Sanxingdui. This time, I flew to Chengdu with my daughter to see a musical. Although we only had two days, we still managed to spend the better part of the day exploring the site. To get a deeper understanding, we signed up for the expert tour, with Teacher Wei Ming leading us. His explanations were incredibly professional, detailed, and dedicated, lasting three and a half hours. He meticulously recounted the history, enriching our knowledge immensely. It was truly worth the money! I highly recommend it to everyone. It might seem a little pricey, but since we're here, why not learn more about Sanxingdui?!
Sanxingdui. Everything you see is breathtaking. The enigmatic Sanxingdui, the mysterious ancient Shu culture, slumbering for millennia, is breathtaking to behold. No written copy can compare to the awe of seeing it with your own eyes. You stand at the other side of time, while I stand here. A single glance transports a thousand years.

A place built on the original site where the ancient poet Du Fu lived for four years and created hundreds of poems is a kind of cultural influence. Nowadays, everything is about money. It costs 50 yuan to leave the ancestors.
Stepping into the thatched cottage, the swaying bamboo shadows create a dialogue with the poetic master. Though simple, the thatched cottage embodies the poetic spirit of concern for his country and his people. Standing quietly here, one hears the recitation of "The Thatched Cottage Destroyed by the Autumn Wind," feeling the innocence of a generation of poets amidst the melancholy and frustration of history.

It was very humid, rainy, and foggy when we were climbing up the mountain. But when we reached the top, it was such a blessing. I felt refreshed and happy. The sky was clear, the fog had dispersed, and everything was so natural.
Mount Emei, one of China's four great Buddhist mountains, is considered the eldest son of Buddha and the leader of all mountains. It stands tall on the southwestern edge of the Sichuan Basin. At 3,099 meters above sea level, the small mountain is not easy to navigate, so I opted to take a sightseeing bus and cable car to the Golden Summit.

Teacher Yang Huan's lectures were engaging and gave us a deeper understanding of the history of the Three Kingdoms. We were surprised by the randomly assigned teacher's excellence. The children braved the heat and listened attentively throughout the entire lecture. Although they certainly didn't understand much, they were captivated by the teacher. The Wuhou Temple is a small scenic area, and the summer crowds made the experience less enjoyable. However, it was still worth it to hear Teacher Yang's professional explanations. It's a good option during the off-season, but you don't need to make a special trip during the peak season.
Known as the "Three Kingdoms Sacred Site" for its profound historical heritage, exquisite architecture, and rich cultural heritage, the Wuhou Temple is a treasure trove of Chinese culture. It serves not only as a witness to history but also as a spiritual transmitter. It plays an irreplaceable role in academic research, cultural heritage, and tourism development, and deserves to be admired and remembered by every Chinese.

Overall it's OK, because the Leshan Giant Buddha is a world cultural heritage after all. Even though it is together with the Oriental Buddha, the entrance fee is 80 yuan, which feels a bit expensive. It can be regarded as a scenic spot. It feels like they just want to charge more for the entrance fee. If you want to see and take a full panoramic view of the Buddha, you have to spend pocket money to take a boat tour on the river, which costs 70 yuan per person. There is no discount.
A stunning World Heritage Site, the Giant Buddha has stood by the river for over 1,000 years, weathered yet still vibrant. Beneath the Buddha's feet lies the surging river, surging and turbulent. Leshan's Qiaojiao Beef and Bobo Chicken are also excellent!

This is a truly remarkable Taoist mountain with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. You can take the high-speed rail directly from Chengdu to the base of the mountain, and then take a shuttle bus to the scenic area. There are many good restaurants at the foot of the mountain, all with a pleasant environment. The service facilities are excellent, making it worthy of being a 5A-rated scenic spot.
It was incredibly fun because the mountain path was incredibly shaky and broken. The bricks on the way down were incredibly steep. At one point, they were only half the width of my shoes, so I had to walk sideways, like a crab. There was a section of broken, cracked, and uneven road that hurt my feet. Also, there was a section of the path next to a cliff, which was so scary that my legs gave out. We took the cable car up, and the scenery was beautiful. We came down with trekking poles. My legs had been hurting for a week, and if it weren't for the kind old man who gave me the poles, it would have taken even longer. Thank you so much! 🙏 The pitfall: There's also a boat ride for 5 yuan. You know how short it is? I got on the boat and checked my phone. When we arrived, there were no seats. We were leaning against a broken wall, and there was a huge pit. I recommend walking. During peak season, be prepared to wait in line for the cable car. We waited for half an hour up the mountain. There was a large fan outside, and the whole tent was set up to cool off. Some shameless people stood in front of the fan, enjoying themselves. The tent was like a sauna. I suggest you be a little more polite, please. To summarize, we arrived at 10:00 AM, climbed the mountain at 12:00 PM, took the cable car, and it took four hours to get down, arriving at 4:30 PM. From Qingcheng Mountain Train Station, we bought a round-trip ticket that took us all the way to the mountain gate, but the return trip ended at 5:00 PM. We almost missed our flight. This is ridiculous. On rainy days, the roads are very slippery, so be extra careful. I mean that. Pay attention to your personal safety on rainy days. Stay a few days until the rain stops. The scenery is beautiful and it's not dangerous yet, so check the weather forecast before you go. This is the front of Qingcheng Mountain. I recommend driving to the back. Finally... if you're also afraid of heights, don't try to be brave. Forget about hiking up and down. I really recommend hiring a car for the entire trip. It's cheap, and the view is great just for the view. I'll never climb again, anyway.

The scenery of Siguniang Mountain is beautiful. The scenic shuttle bus runs smoothly and is reasonably scheduled. You can get on and off freely at each station. The itinerary is reasonable. There are also explanations during the operation, which is very good and deepens your understanding of the snow-capped mountains.
Beautiful scenery, Not so difficult to access, Well-organized, Slightly pricey,

Taking the cable car, you can have a panoramic view of the rushing Yangtze River, the ever-changing mountain city, or the dazzling night scene. This experience that combines literature, art, romance, liveliness, and three-dimensionality allows people to fully experience the unique charm of Chongqing.
Once a daily commute, it's now a popular tourist destination. It's witnessed the passage of history, economic development, the fulfillment of life, and the footprints of those who strive for a better life.
