It's worth a visit. The various ethnic performances were very exciting. It was just raining when I went there, so many programs were cancelled. The travel photography was terrible. It was the worst travel photography I've ever had in so many places. I just followed the photos near a scenic spot. The experience was poor, and the photos were not good at all. I paid for it and that was it. It really hurt the score of the scenic spot.
I bought the night show and entered the park at 5:30 pm. The battery-powered bicycles were all off duty. A few villages were open, but it was a bit deserted and the show was a bit boring. It might be because there were too few people. The scenery is beautiful and suitable for taking pictures and checking in. I don't recommend it if you want to learn about ethnic minorities. It takes a long time to walk out of the commercial area...

I really enjoyed coming here with my mom and husband. We were able to see the animals up close while still feeling safe, which was amazing! I was a bit disappointed with the panda area, as it wasn't as engaging as I had hoped, but overall it was still a wonderful experience. I wouldn’t mind coming back again next time. Highly recommended!

Lijiang Eternal Love was truly spectacular. The high-altitude acrobatics, intense fighting scenes, and galloping horses...the action sequences were tightly choreographed, thrilling, and powerful. The actors' demanding skills and passionate performances ignited the audience, drawing thunderous applause. Both the elderly and children in my family thoroughly enjoyed the performance, and afterward, we gained a deeper understanding of Lijiang's traditional culture. Next, we embarked on an in-depth tour of Lijiang.
The Grand Theater's "Water Stage" is the crowning touch. Actors dance on the water, ripples spreading rhythmically; the flooding scene is majestic and incredibly realistic. Water is masterfully employed in various performances, becoming a dynamic narrative language and a unique aesthetic symbol. Paired with the distinctive Yunnan ethnic dance, it feels as if culture has come alive.

The staff were excellent, with dedicated guides for each animal area. You could get up close and personal with the red pandas. The forest environment was beautiful, the air was fresh, and the path was easy to walk on. However, there were many steps, so wear sneakers.
The scenic area's route is well-designed: first enter by electric car, then hike 1.8 kilometers, and then return by electric car. We spent two hours walking, stopping, and enjoying the scenery without feeling tired. The service was excellent, with staff actively guiding and explaining at every stop, answering any questions. The animal interaction fee was a reasonable 20 yuan per person.

The hotel is in a great location, right next to Nanhu Park and a 10-minute walk from Southwest Associated University and Pioneer Bookstore. I happened to catch the weekly Haibianzhai market, which takes place every Sunday. The dazzling array of products, the diverse ethnic groups gathered together, and the vibrant ethnic costumes were truly eye-opening. It was well worth the trip. The hotel's breakfast was also excellent, and they even gave me a 40-yuan voucher for cross-bridge rice noodles. I had two of them in a row, and they were delicious!
I rushed to buy Sunday tickets early Wednesday morning. They said tickets would be released at midnight, but it took a minute or two after midnight for them to be available. I recommend that older children purchase seats, even at half price, because the carriages are incredibly crowded. The free time at each attraction is quite ample, but restrooms can be a challenge. Girls, in particular, had to wait in line for a long time. The only additional charge is the return shuttle bus fare to Tuanshan Mingju, or you can hike down the mountain. It's not expensive, only three yuan per person. Overall, the experience was good, but it wasn't as clean and inviting as advertised. It was quite crowded, and there were a lot of people smoking at the station.

The best place to get to know a local is through a museum. Yunbo Museum is right next to Guandu Ancient Town. We went in the morning and it was quite crowded. Our tour guide said it was even more crowded in the afternoon, probably because many people visit Yunbo Museum before heading to Guandu Ancient Town.
The guide was very good! He covered six historical museums in two hours and covered almost all the important cultural relics. Yunnan's historical relics are very interesting. I benefited a lot and will come again next time!

The main attractions in the volcano park are Dakong Mountain and Xiaokong Mountain. The electric cars at the entrance of the scenic area will stop at their respective locations. Dakong Mountain requires more physical strength. Since there are elderly people and children in our group, we directly chose Xiaokong Mountain. It has more than 70 steps and is very friendly. We can easily reach the top, then go around it and return by the same route.
The parking lot of the scenic area is very large. After entering the scenic area, we took the children to the Volcano Museum first, and then took a sightseeing bus to climb Dakong Mountain. On the way, we could overlook the hot air balloons and paragliders. We stopped and walked all the way to the crater. We did not climb Xiaokong Mountain. Compared with Ulan Hada Volcano, the volcanic landform is not too obvious, and there are fewer volcanoes that can be climbed, but it wins in the surrounding green scenery.

Nighttime tickets are cheaper, but wait times are shorter than during the day, allowing for a wider range of attractions, and the Torch Festival is also lively. The park's design reflects strong ethnic characteristics and cultural heritage. Objectively speaking, annual passes are relatively inexpensive, and for families traveling with children, you can rent very affordable B&Bs (over 1,000 yuan per month, or under 100 yuan per day), perfect for both study and leisure activities. However, the planned location fails to fully leverage the unique character of Dianchi Lake. Due to its locational constraints, its food, living facilities, and transportation are inferior to those of the main urban area. For example, the local economy (Jinning District) may be problematic. The road between the main urban area and the park is unlit early in the evening, and the road is uneven in some areas.
Adults can bring their children to play, and both adults and children will have a lot of fun. It is impossible to play here in one day. The food inside is relatively expensive, so it is best to bring some food with you. Some areas may be slightly cheaper, but generally it is more expensive than outside. Don't buy raincoats outside, as the water activities inside are all free. When I left, I took a picture of the beautiful sunset, which was very photogenic. It's a pity that I didn't get to play many activities with my baby, but the older children didn't want to leave after having so much fun.

I went on August 13th and waited in line for the cable car for an hour and a half. It was unbearable 😣... I bought my ticket on Ctrip. Remember, I must go to the cable car ticket window to get my paper ticket before lining up!!! On a sunny day, the cable car offers a stunning view of Erhai Lake in Dali. There's a very high section, so those afraid of heights should keep their eyes closed. The one-way trip takes about 15 minutes.
Cangshan Mountain in Dali is so beautiful! The Gantong Cableway is great value for money. Along the way, you can see the Cangshan pine forest and overlook Erhai Lake. It's spectacular! The squirrels on Cangshan Mountain are so fat and love to eat potato chips 😁

Mengbanasi is not bad. It is more beautiful if you come in spring when it blooms. There are many beautiful and precious stones and ancient trees. I bought a combined ticket, and Global Pass gave me a 30 yuan discount. I only paid more than 30 yuan for the two attractions, which is quite cost-effective.
"Mongbanasi" is a Dai language, meaning "a magical, beautiful and rich place". The park is a rare eco-tourism scenic spot with a collection of ancient trees, rare stones and treasures. It presents a unique "small place, big world". Among them, there are more than 300 century-old trees, 4 thousand-year-old trees, and more than 10 rare and endangered plants in the park. In the museum and beside the trail, there are more than 200 kinds of rare stones and jade, Huanglong jade treasures, and more than 130 large specimens of endangered famous trees from Africa, South America, Southeast Asia and other countries around the world. There are three exhibition halls and nine parks in the park: Paleontological Fossils, Petrified Jade Hall, Rare Stones and Famous Trees Hall, World Famous Trees, Large Root Art Hall, as well as Bamboo Forest, Plum Garden, Bougainvillea Garden, Banyan Tree Garden, Crape Myrtle Garden, Osmanthus Garden, Rare Plant Garden, Celebrity Tree Garden, Ancient Tree Garden.
