It's a traditional hot spring town with a long history.
It's famous for its ruins, but it has all the tourist facilities and isn't too crowded, so you can relax.
The suspension bridge is old and I was a bit worried about whether it was still OK, but it was quite impressive.
There are many hot springs in Kanto, and Nikko City’s Kinugawa Secret Hot Spring is very famous. There is a very hidden place with an inconspicuous signboard. Walk down the steps into the woods. There are independent cabins in the woods! You can stay in a cabin and enjoy the hot springs. The hot spring is located in the open air. Looking at the lake view. It feels secluded and peaceful. My favorite secret soup. Japanese bathing (lokiri open-air bath).
