Don't dismiss this historical and beautiful museum. Very interactive art/ architectural gallery and educational. Highly recommend even if you have an hour. They did an amazing job to depict Hans Christian Andersens life.
The Andersen Museum was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary (1905) of the birth of the great Danish fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875). The first half of the museum is Andersen's works from various periods, manuscripts, correspondence, drawings, and oil paintings and sculptures of Andersen's life. The second half is Andersen's life and writing experience at various stages of his life. It includes a library and a video and recording studio, where people can listen to Andersen's fairy tales by picking up the receiver. It makes people feel as if they have returned to the 19th century when Andersen lived.

Odense, the third largest city in Denmark, follows Andersen's footsteps to explore this fairy-tale city. The square is not very lively, but it does gather many buildings and cultural relics, and the overall feeling is very good.
The famous Sankt Knuds Kirke Church is located in the central square of Odense, and of course there is a huge bronze statue of the reclining Oceania by Svend Wiig Hansen. There are also many bronze statues around the square. There are also various statues and art installations around the square. There are traditional Danish-style buildings next to the square. These brightly colored old houses are neatly arranged. Walking among them, it feels like going back to the era when Andersen lived.

Pre-departure Visit - Salute Hans Christian Andersens [Applause], Feel the original Danish life in the rain The Funen Village [Rose]...
In Odense, there are now two Andersen's former residences preserved. One is Andersen's birthplace, which is the Andersen Museum; the other Andersen's former residence is Andersen's childhood home, where he lived from the age of two to 14.

Funen Village - Funen Open Air Museum, is located in an old-fashioned building complex. These are rural buildings left over from the 18th and 19th centuries, which were later rebuilt into a complete village. It really looks like a small village inside, with corrals, duck ponds, apple trees and gardens. It presents the original Danish lifestyle, like a complete picture of rural life. Visiting here not only allows you to experience Danish rural life, but also allows you to personally participate in it and get close to nature and animals. Denmark's attitude of living in harmony with nature can be seen in Funen Village.
Walking through it, it feels like traveling back to the Middle Ages. There are houses where people lived at that time, schools, restaurants and workshops, as well as captive livestock, etc. It is like a small village in a fairy tale, with a strong natural atmosphere that will make you linger!

I strongly recommend that you have the opportunity to experience this cruise, it is a very worthwhile trip. It is a very good choice to feel the charm of Andersen's hometown and listen to Andersen's stories. It is a very relaxing trip of about 2 hours, and you can feel the local cultural atmosphere.
The Offat Cruise is especially worth taking and experiencing. The cruise ship itself is very beautiful and quite comfortable, and the attractions that the cruise ship visits are very beautiful, and you can see many landmarks.
