Considered one of the best aquariums in the world and it’s definitely for good reason. Lots of unique fishes that are only available at the site so that’s a great motivation for marine lovers too! Don’t miss out the dolphin show just outside the main auditorium area too.

Plenty to see and do. There are a number of different performances to watch. Time your trip right and you can watch the various performances. The butterfly park was a little disappointing.
There are some Japanese ancient villages here, with traditional folk costumes and dance performances. There is a performance schedule at the door. It feels very quiet? You can take a look around for an hour. If you want to watch the performance, you can take a leisurely walk for 3 hours.

Unfortunately for me, I happened to be there during renovation time so I couldn’t catch the final version but the general structure was visible from a distance and looked very impressive. There’s a nice souvenir shop close to the entrance as well with interesting designs and keepsakes.
A wonderful half day tour. The ticket price is cheap. It is suitable for friends, couples and family to travel.

Highly recommend this place! Needless to say, the cave itself is spectacular and worth the ticket price already. They will Even give a free photo for visiting the cave. The other exhibitions are interesting and give you an overview of the Ryuku Kingdom. There are plenty of food and drink options and lots of souvenir options! Even if you don't buy a workshop pass here, you can buy it on the day itself. Many of the activities don't take much time. I really enjoyed the experience despite the hot weather. Taxi from Omoromachi was around 4000yen, which we divided amongst our friends.

A special attraction in Okinawa. It is actually very small and I feel that I can walk around it in less than half an hour. I can see wild pineapples on the roadside. It feels quite fun. There is not much else to comment on. The sea is actually very blue~

When returning to the city from the Okinawa Aquarium, you will pass by this American Village. The most famous thing here is that there is an American 🇺🇸 military base. On the small building opposite the base, you can spend a few coins to peek at the equipment in the base. You can really see airplanes, armored vehicles and so on. It’s a pity that if you are not a military fan, you can’t tell the models apart.
Its eye-catching symbol is the large Ferris wheel with a diameter of about 50 meters. The American Village has entertainment facilities mainly based on 3D images, an 8-screen movie theater, a shopping mall, a bowling alley, an American restaurant, a recording studio, an entertainment center, an imported grocery store, etc., and there are also complex facilities for sports.

In Nago City, a little far from Naha, you can play with the Churaumi Aquarium ~ Although it is not big, it is fun. Take a small train + automatic sightseeing car, there are Chinese commentaries, eat pineapple ice cream after sightseeing and buy souvenirs. It takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.
Ok if you have kids as they will enjoy the various tram rides. Otherwise it’s just a park with flowers (no pineapples at time of visit) and overpriced fruits/food
