Tuoliang Scenic Area is located at the junction of Hebei and Shanxi provinces in the northwest of Pingshan County, Hebei Province. It is adjacent to the national scenic spot Xibaipo in the south, connected to Wuyuezhai National Forest Park in Lingshou County in the east, bordering the largest waterfall group in the north of Fuping County in the north, and facing Mount Wutai, one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, in the west. It is named because the top of the mountain resembles a camel hump. The total area of the scenic area is 158 square kilometers, consisting of more than 200 scenic spots such as Baipu Gorge, Sandiequan, Feiluquan, and Yunding Grassland. The main peak is 2,281 meters above sea level. It is the highest peak in Shijiazhuang and one of the five highest peaks in Hebei Province.
Tuoliang is famous for its cool climate, with an average temperature of only 19℃ in summer. Tuoliang in summer is green and wet, as if it had just been fished out of the water, with mist in the mountains and rain and dew in the clouds. The clouds are so deep that you cannot see the beautiful rocks. When the water rises, you can hear the sound of the thousands of valleys. Nearly a hundred waterfalls, such as the Sandie Waterfall, the White Dragon Waterfall, the Human-shaped Waterfall, and the Five Fingers Waterfall, are dancing in the lush and deep 20-mile long gorge, with flying pearls and jade splashing, and cold smoke condensing into green; dozens of clear springs, such as the Ice Spring, the Dragon Spring, and the Mabao Spring, are like strings of pearls scattered in the gorge, crystal clear, and never dry up, and tourists can drink freely. The sky grassland and sea of flowers on the top of Tuoliang Peak are even more magical masterpieces of nature. The top of the mountain, more than 2,000 meters above sea level, is as wide and flat as a whetstone, with grass and quiet grass, hidden between the blue sky, white clouds and green waves of pine forests.
