Taormina's main attractions include the 2000-year-old theater, and a good viewing spot with the sea behind and the volcano in front. There is an English guide, but you need to deposit your passport, which you can get back after the tour.
An amazing theatre with beautiful views, you can see Isola Bella and the coastline from one side and the amazing mountains on the other. The price to enter is 12 euros which is overpriced compared to other theatres in Europe.

Recently i'm exploring Mount Etna, Europe’s highest and most active volcano, is a breathtaking wonder of nature. Towering over the Sicilian landscape, it offers a mesmerizing blend of dramatic volcanic scenery, lush vineyards, and ancient lava flows. Adventurous travelers can hike its trails, explore craters, and witness occasional eruptions lighting up the sky. Whether blanketed in snow or basking in summer sun, Etna promises unforgettable views and a powerful connection to Earth's raw energy.
It was beautiful but we didn't have enough time. You need a full day. We only had a few hours so we took an ATV tour which the teenagers enjoyed but was a bit bumpy, dusty and not as fun as I had hoped! I think the experience would have been better with a cable car ride.

Taormina, in the past, many writers, poets, and stars would come here for vacation. Many beautiful legends and scenery about Taormina were left in novels. There are many orange trees here, the sun is shining, and there must be a cathedral in Piazza 9 April.
Piazza 9 degli Abril is a typical Sicilian square The unique black and white floor tiles are the most beautiful postcards In the distance, you can see the blue Ionian Sea and the misty Mount Etna On the other side of the square is the pre-Gothic Church of St. Augustine and the 17th-century Church of St. Joseph The square leads to Taormina's oldest bell tower~

In the evening, we took a cable car from the town to the beach to view Bella Island. It is a protected island and does not allow tourists to approach it. It is not allowed to go to the island. Although it is really possible to go there on foot, the light is not very bright at night. Good, and it will be colder and windy
I really feel so emotional. I went to Sicily in early January 2020 and visited Taormina for 3 days and 2 nights. Now everything has been completely stopped. Isola Bella is a heart-shaped island. You can walk to see it from a distance, but you can't go to the island to play. The entire island is closed and you have to abide by the rules.

Messina Cathedral was built in the 12th century. It is a very classic church building. This church is also a very important area. The church is also quite large. Here you can learn a lot about the history and religious culture of the city.
Messina Cathedral is a huge local building that integrates a lot of good resources. This church is also a local landmark. The internal architectural environment is also quite unique, and there are many interesting things here.

The Centaur Fountain in Piazza 9 Aprile in Taormina has a Centaur on top. The whole sculpture fountain feels restrained and not very extravagant. There are restaurants and churches around it, and the scenery is nice.
Taormina is a small town that can be visited in almost a day. There is a Centaur fountain in front of the church. The fountain here is different from the one in Rome. It has a unique southern feature. It also presents different beauty from each angle.
