Hallgrímskirkja: A Poem of Nature and Faith in Iceland This landmark church in Reykjavik (built between 1945 and 1986) is inspired by the basalt columns of the Icelandic volcano, and uses modern concrete to "reproduce" natural wonders - the 72-meter-high tower is like a glacier crack, and the gradient oblique columns on the facade simulate the rhythm of solidified lava. The 30-meter-high minimalist hall inside introduces the changing light of the Nordic world through slender glass windows, replacing the gorgeous decoration of traditional churches, and using abstract light and shadow to express the sacredness. Three highlights: 1. Natural architecture: The concrete columns are like growing basalt, and the gray and white tones echo the glaciers; 2. Modern Gothic: The vertical lines and towering spires continue the Gothic sublime feeling, but simplify; 3. Symbol of Icelandic soul: The construction process accompanied Iceland's independence, and the tower is still the commanding height of the city, declaring the national spirit. Summary in one sentence: When volcanoes, glaciers and faith meet, this "concrete hymn rising from the earth" was born. Hallgrímskirkja Cathedral in Iceland is a very monumental church. From the outside, it looks very simple and elegant. According to the locals, this church was built for about half a century.

I suggest you don't take this trip. It takes about two and a half hours to take a boat back and forth. If you feel dizzy, you must take medicine. The scenery is OK, but there are no small or big fish. There are only small biscuits, coffee and tea. So the cost performance is too low, because the price is not cheap.
Recommend Iceland itinerary to find fun and see whales. It feels worth it. Life becomes vivid at that moment. It is not good to get seasick. It is recommended that you eat less before departure. Overall, it is very good.

Perlan is a beautiful musuem, perfect for a leisure day in Reykjavik. If you only visit one attraction in reykjavik, it has to be perlan. (you can skip aurora reykjavik and lava show) We took the bus 18 to ‘perlan’ bus stop where we walked through a little garden. there was a lot of people on a rainy tuesday afternoon. we easily spent about 3 hours there: watch shows about volcano and aurora, enter ice cave & learn about iceland’s geology. Apparently the restaurant rotates around in the dome, but we didn’t have time to try.
I don’t know why, but this city is full of Chinese, and only Chinese. I met all kinds of Chinese on the road, from China, the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe, and Australia. Yes, the sky in Iceland is really beautiful. After all, the sunshine lasts for 4 hours, so you can watch the sunrise and sunset at the same time.

Lake Thorning is an important tourist attraction in the capital of Iceland and is worth visiting. The lake is close to the City Hall, so you can visit the City Hall as well. There are many colorful houses by the lake. There are swans, ducks and birds in the lake, which attracts many tourists, especially children. You can interact and play with the seabirds and feed them, which is fun. There are also unique European-style buildings with pointed roofs and unique bridges by the lake. There is also an interesting statue standing here. His upper body is a huge square-shaped stone, and his lower body is a man carrying a briefcase 💼, which can be interpreted as modern urban office workers working hard for life and work... It’s nice to stroll by the lake with a cool breeze and enjoy the vast lake view!
Although the Icelandic Thorninghu Lake is not the largest lake in the area, it is a very famous lake and a favorite place for locals to visit. Because of its geographical location, it is relatively close to the city, so it is very convenient for people to come here.

The Northern Lights Center in Reykjavik, Iceland. According to the locals, this place is an aurora viewing center established by four young people. The most important thing to do when going to Iceland is to chase the aurora. This place is in a great location to watch the laser-shaped aurora.
The most exciting things to do in Iceland are the glaciers and the aurora borealis. The aurora borealis is very luck-dependent. We were very lucky to see the aurora borealis. It is said that making a wish to the aurora borealis is easier and more economical. You can try it too.

The Golden Circle is the most famous area with the most ice-covered attractions. There are glaciers, waterfalls, and auroras here. Every year, it attracts countless tourists from all over the world.
The Golden Circle is a general term for the main attractions such as the Golden Falls. It is also a must-see attraction in Iceland. At least our group basically visited all the attractions in the Golden Circle. It is very beautiful and worth visiting.

You can check the ticket on the spot when you buy it on Ctrip.com, which is very convenient. You can scan the code to listen to the explanation by voice. There is WiFi, and it is very good! If you have enough time, it is recommended to walk slowly. There is Canshi on the first floor. The coffee is very fragrant.
When traveling to a place or a country, the first place you should visit is its museum. It is understood that the museum covers a large area and it will take a whole day to visit it completely.

Iceland's Sun Voyager is a very famous building in Iceland. It may seem abstract to you, so please make a plan when you go there, or ask the locals. The history of the National People's Congress is quite interesting, and it is also a square that the locals love very much.
This is a sculpture on the waterfront of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. It is said to represent a pirate ship and commemorate the pioneering spirit of Iceland's ancestors. The design of the ship sculpture is indeed unique and abstract, but it is not difficult to understand.

The Harpa Concert Hall is located in the center of Reykjavik, Iceland's capital. The glass building is not very conspicuous from the outside, but it is very distinctive from the inside, with elegant lines and abstractions.
Iceland's Harpa Concert Hall looks very stylish, especially at night when all the lights come together, making it look so grand. This concert hall covers a large area and can be said to be the entertainment and life center of the local people.
