I saw online that it was incredibly crowded, so I went straight for the VIP membership. I'd searched online for the VIP process, but couldn't find any information. So, I'll share my experience. It was indeed incredibly crowded, and the weather was incredibly hot. We gathered at 8 a.m. and took the shuttle directly into the park, which really saved us a lot of energy and time. We first went to see the pandas, elephants, and other animals, then had a meal with the giraffes. It was just a burger. There was a small show afterward, but the vendors didn't let me talk about it, so I won't go into detail. It was pretty good, at least I didn't get to experience the experience I bought at Chimelong. We then took the shuttle bus, which did help us avoid the crowds, but the tour was a bit short. The marine section wasn't guided at all, so we had to explore on our own. The total cost was about two hours. Tickets were over 800 yuan each, and children over 140cm tall count as adults, so for our family of four, it came to around 3000 yuan.
The zoo covers a huge area and contains many genetically mutated animals that cannot be seen in other zoos. The most distinctive feature should be the outdoor oceanarium, which is right by the sea. There is a large area of water where sea lions and seals are kept, and there are very few other marine life. It is still inferior to a real oceanarium. Overall, the ticket price is quite expensive.

I bought a ticket for the 10 o'clock segment and went there with the idea of giving it a try. There were not many people, so I got on the boat directly. I didn't have to wait until 10 o'clock. I boarded the boat around 9 o'clock. There were not as many seagulls as shown in the video account. I didn't feed the big ham I bought. The island scenery is stunning and incredibly beautiful. However, it's quite tiring and not suitable for very young children. Strollers can't easily navigate the many steps. Children over six years old with good stamina should be fine. It's like climbing a small hill, with a minimum of 8,000 to 9,000 steps. The island is very relaxing and photogenic, offering a unique view of the ocean. It feels completely isolated. The clifftop cafe is photogenic, but the hygiene is poor and the cakes are too sweet. The island could use some added services to make it more comfortable for visitors.
The weather was great on weekdays, and the lines were not long and well-organized. I recommend a clockwise tour; the reefs are at their most beautiful. The water is incredibly blue at noon, and the scenery is stunning. You can feed the seagulls on the boat, so be sure to break up some sausage into small pieces beforehand and throw them to them. Make sure to go when the weather is good.
