As a 5A-rated scenic spot, I feel like it could be better! It's heavily commercialized, and the ancient buildings and historical sites have become secondary. However, the night view is great, with lanterns illuminating the scenery, and the view from the city wall is also quite beautiful.
Huizhou Ancient City is quite unique, especially the night tour of the Yamen and the performances. During the day, you can go shopping, eat and drink, and visit the museum. It is a good place to relax after playing in Huangshan!

Our group of 17, young and old, enjoyed free admission for children under four. Those aged 65 and over only had to purchase an 80 yuan boat ticket. Those aged 60 to 65 were half-price, while full-price tickets were 120 yuan. Children aged 6 to 18 were also charged 120 yuan. The remaining adults paid 120 yuan for both entrance and boat. The tour lasted nearly three hours and included a free viewing of the Nine Surnames Fishing Festival, a visit to the Hongzhuang Pavilion, and an optional ice sculpture world. The scenic beauty of the Xin'an River was breathtaking and truly captivating!

It is worth taking your children to study. Chinese civilization has a long history and these civilizations need to be protected and passed down from generation to generation.

Located in Shendu Town, She County, in the mountainous region of southern Anhui Province, Yangchan Tulou is a small village nestled against the backdrop of the mountains. Most of the villagers are indigenous, and the village has a simple and unpretentious atmosphere. Dining at the mountain farmhouse is affordable and delicious. Stepping into the Tulou is like stepping back into a simpler era.
Before going up, I thought the fee was too high. After the roller coaster ride, I was immediately slapped in the face. They should make money. The earth building has a long history and is very primitive. The permanent population seems to be less than 200, and the village is full of grandpas and aunts. The place is very picturesque, but the mountain road is difficult to drive. You can go up and check in.

In Xucun, you can appreciate the magical architectural art and feng shui techniques in the "Lu Ban Jing". This less well-known village has become a rare national treasure village in Anhui, with rare historical relics. Visiting the ancient buildings in Xucun is like touring the long river of feudal history, and the aftertaste is long! Regarding some travel guides for Xucun, She County, Shanyejun briefly summarizes them as follows for reference.

Tickets: Xucun, She County will maintain the old buildings from March to July 2025, and all ancestral halls and exhibition halls will not be open to the public, so it is free to enter Xucun during this period.
