The Xiangwang Hometown Stele was erected more than 400 years ago
I came to the Xiangwang Hometown Stele at 10:25 on September 8, 2025.
The Xiangwang Hometown Stele was erected by Hu Sanjun, the magistrate of Suqian County, for Xiangwang&#39;s hometown in the 42nd year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1703). It is a commemorative stele located in Wutong Lane, Suqian City. Hu Sanjun officially erected the stele based on historical legends and textual research and named it &quot;Xiangwang&#39;s hometown&quot;. This is the origin of Xiangwang&#39;s hometown.
Local people say that the place where the stele was erected is the birthplace of Xiang Yu. The door of the Xiang family faces west, so the stele also faces west.
According to historical records, although Hu Sanjun was a county magistrate, he was not a seventh-rank magistrate, but a third-rank magistrate, that is, a fourth-rank magistrate. The stele is 6 feet high and 2 feet wide. The four characters &quot;Xiangwang&#39;s hometown&quot; are engraved on the front, and the base is a bixi.

The upper couplet: The hegemony is gone, the ancient trees of Qin are strong, and the heroic spirit is a hundred feet high; the lower couplet: The king&#39;s name is recorded in the world, and the sacrifices are thousands of years. This couplet is a hidden couplet. The word &quot;hegemon&quot; is exclusive to Xiang Yu in Chinese history. The couplet was written by Wu Yingning, the former vice chairman of the Suqian CPPCC.

I tasted various flavors of Yanghe wine. It was a real treat! I recommend friends who love wine to come and experience it!

I didn&#39;t expect Yanghe Brewery to be so fun. I suggest you take your kids to see it. It&#39;s very informative and interesting! But the tour is a bit short at one and a half hours. It&#39;s too long to have a bus every hour. I hope Suqian&#39;s cultural tourism will be well explored and utilized. It&#39;s much more distinctive than the ancient towns and gardens everywhere! I think it&#39;s at least better than the Qingdao Beer Museum, but it&#39;s a pity that it&#39;s not promoted enough!
