There seem to be several shops. We were shopping on Pingjiang Road, and my friend wanted to eat shengjian. He said there was a yaba shengjian nearby, which was great. We could go and try it. So we went straight here. The environment is good, the old house with antique style has two floors, the first floor is the kitchen and hall, and the second floor is full of tables!

The burnt bottom is very crispy and fragrant, the filling is very full, the juice is full, and it is very fresh. I saw it was freshly made on the spot. 7 people made it on the spot, it was so popular that we started queuing at around 3 o'clock. We were still queuing when we finished eating! Day 1: Take photos at the Suzhou Museum → Breathe in the air at the Humble Administrator’s Garden → Explore the rockery at the Lion Grove Garden → Stroll along Pingjiang Road → Eat snacks at the Twin Pagodas → Watch the sunset at Jinji Lake and the night view at the Big Pants
Key Points: The architecture at the Suzhou Museum is amazing! Make an appointment in advance! Even if you can’t get a photo opportunity at the entrance, it’s still worth it! The Humble Administrator’s Garden is incredibly crowded, so go early! The rockery at the Lion Grove Garden is like a maze, a must with kids! The pan-fried siomai was delicious, but it tasted similar to Shanghai, after all, we are family! 2⃣ Mingyuewan Ancient Village: A 2,500-year-old village, the filming location for "All Is Well." The sunset at the ancient wharf is stunning, and the stone pavement and thousand-year-old camphor trees in the village are perfect for photography.
3⃣ Shigong Mountain: Surrounded by water on three sides and covered in verdant cypresses, you can watch the sunrise and sunset over Taihu Lake from the summit. 4⃣ Piaomiao Peak: The highest of the 72 peaks of Taihu Lake, at 336.6 meters above sea level. The hike takes about 2 hours.
5⃣ Linwu Cave: A limestone cave with a constant temperature of 18°C, it's a popular summer escape.
⭐️There are numerous cafes on the island, so you can relax at any of them during the hottest hours. Recommended spots include Lake & Cafe☕️, LIM (a castle-like building), and Ross Rose Garden, where you can wait for sunset or head to the Mingyue Bay area. The downside is the crowds and traffic.
📢 Evening:
It gets dark around 7:00 PM. Find a nearby farmhouse for dinner, or, like us, choose Moen BBQ, an open-air barbecue restaurant with music, open until 3:00 AM, and the food is delicious.
📝 Special note: If you're using an electric car like me, many charging stations on the island are broken. We searched three locations [Facepalm] and finally found the largest and most reliable charging station: the State Grid Suzhou Wuzhong Jinting Ancient Camphor Garden Charging Station! It's just a few kilometers from Moen BBQ.
