My favorite museum in Stockholm💕
Skansen SKANSEN is the world's first open-air folk museum. Founded in 1891, it covers an area of more than 30 hectares and has more than 150 houses, showing people the life of the Swedes in the past from multiple angles. Including farmhouses, barns, churches and bell towers
There is also a zoo in the park, which mainly exhibits animals growing in the cold regions of Northern Europe. Children especially love Skansen Park. Skansen is the world's first open-air museum, which displays the miniature landscape of the entire Sweden. Liseberg Amusement Park is also very interesting. It is located in the city of Gothenburg. It is a large playground. There are many people on weekends and some individual projects require queuing. However, the overall ride is very smooth and basically everything can be enjoyed. There are not many large amusement facilities.
The name of Liseberg Amusement Park comes from the owner of the property, Johan Anders Lamberg. Originally, Johan Anders Lamberg named Liseberg after his wife, Lisa. Around 1753, he set aside an area as "Lisa's Mountain".
In 1908, the city of Gothenburg bought the property. In 1923, Gothenburg celebrated its 300th anniversary. At the same time, Leisure Park and Congress Park were built. Initially, the park was intended to be a temporary attraction, but it was unexpected that in just over a month, the park received more than 800,000 visitors. Thus, this "temporary" attraction not only became a "permanent" attraction, but also expanded. Later, the park's area reached 150,000 square meters. On November 24, 1924, the Gothenburg City Council decided to spend $1 million to purchase Liseberg Amusement Park.
There is no dull moment in Liseberg Amusement Park. There is the world's steepest wooden roller coaster. In the summer when tourists are busy, the park is often filled with the screams of brave people doing free falls. There are also often cocktail parties or tea parties held here.
