Fuxian Lake has been quite popular in recent years. Real estate tycoons have long surrounded the area, building numerous health and wellness projects. I wonder how sales are performing now. The overall environment is quite pleasant, with mountains and water, the hills covered with tobacco trees, and a small temple overlooking the lake. There are many farmhouses near the lake, and the fish is excellent and spicy.
Fuxian Lake is a hidden gem in Yunnan. Its waters are so clear that you can see pebbles ten meters underwater. When sunlight shines on the lake, the waves ripple with shimmering golden light, a breathtaking beauty. Walking along the lake, reeds sway in the wind, white birds fly across the water, and the blue-tiled, white-walled houses on the shore exude a quaint charm. As you sail toward the center of the lake, the water gradually transforms from light blue to a deep blue, creating a feeling of being transported to a world of glass. Here, free from the hustle and bustle of over-the-top commercialism, lies the tranquility of fishing boats singing in the evening and the refreshing mountain breeze. Whether you sit by the lake and meditate or dive underwater to explore the ruins of the ancient Dian Kingdom, you can experience the unique charm of nature and history intertwined together, making it a perfect place to purify your soul.

It would have been quite convenient to walk from Gantong to Xima Cao and then pay the 50 yuan per person difference to take the cable car down the mountain, but now you have to climb 1,200 steps to get to Xima Cao, which is a bummer. They are currently building another staircase or elevator nearby, so it may be improved in the future.
The cable car is the first choice for parent-child travel. The pool water is much clearer. The queue for the battery car in Longmen Scenic Area is too long, so I gave up decisively. It is still necessary to walk around Nie Er's Tomb after getting off the cable car.

Guizhou is very crowded during the summer peak season, so we have to avoid peak hours when visiting Maling River. We recommend entering at 5pm and taking the Xiaoqingshan elevator up and down to see the entire landscape. The natural scenery is still very magnificent.
The scenic area itself is relatively good in terms of both natural environment and facility management. However, a few days ago, the road facilities may have been washed away by heavy water, so most of the scenic area was closed. Therefore, tourists should be reminded before entering the scenic area instead of simply closing the scenic area roads.

The scenery is beautiful, but there's some traffic. Traffic jams happen because some people think they're smarter than others and skip the line, overtaking from the side lanes and blocking oncoming traffic. I've taken photos of these cars skipping the line and exposing them, hoping to foster public scrutiny and promote social progress. We can't always let those who skip the line take advantage while those with public morals suffer.
This is the location mentioned in Chairman Mao's poem "The Long March." "The Five Ridges wind like gentle waves, the Wumeng Mountains are majestic and majestic, rolling in the mud." The great man's words are imbued with revolutionary passion. Back in 1935, at a time of national crisis, a group of Red Army troops, filled with revolutionary ideals to transform the world and build a new China, began their journey in the mountains of Jiangxi and Hunan. They were then forced into the Long March by counter-revolutionary encirclement and suppression. Eighty years ago, in today's peaceful times, have become a beautiful sight before our eyes. The hardships endured by the Red Army have become the roads we now face, the natural barriers we face now, and the world has been transformed! Arriving at the Wumeng Grassland, we'll find farmhouses and hotels along the way, each with its own cattle and sheep slaughterhouse. Herds of cattle and sheep abound, leisurely grazing amidst the blue sky, white clouds, and verdant mountains and clear waters. Here, too, there are groups of horseback riders and herders grazing their cattle. Galloping on horseback through the alpine meadows was such a joy... The road winds along, filled with seas of clouds, mountains, horses, cattle, sheep, and people unfettered by their own freedom, as well as tents and RVs of all colors. There are also campsites and people trekking up the canyon. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the people taking photos and checking in admirably embellish the beautiful scenery, a true reflection of the people's yearning and pursuit for a better life! The road may be long, but the journey will eventually lead to the destination! We also rode the bus through the rolling hills, letting our eyes take in the scenery and our hearts wander freely. Someone played "To the Clouds," which was perfectly fitting! Everyone sang and sang, taking in photos and checking in on the Cloud Plank Road. Occasionally, cattle and sheep would approach, unfazed. Many people drove along the mountain roads, but some cars unfortunately got stuck, causing traffic congestion in some sections. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. Just one moment, the sky was clear, then suddenly it was overcast. From time to time, clouds would blow in, and then a moment later, a steady rain would fall... Perhaps this is the beauty and magic of the Wumeng Grassland. It's said that around 4 p.m., the Tyndall effect occurs, where sunlight scatters through clouds. If you're lucky, you might even witness the Buddha's light shining brightly. Due to time constraints, we didn't see it. We continued on our journey, passing through lush green mountains and clear waters, and then walked a long, poorly maintained road before reaching the Beipanjiang Bridge, said to be the world's tallest bridge at 600 meters. This is a great victory for our country's infrastructure, and it's a testament to the fact that mountain dwellers have transformed natural barriers into accessible roads, no longer feeling overwhelmed by the sight of mountains.

At first I thought the entrance fee was a bit expensive, but after the trip I realized it was totally worth it. The scenery was so beautiful, I took a boat ride and a sightseeing bus. I took a few photos with my phone without any filters. I recommend renting a Hello 4-seater electric scooter for families. It costs 50 yuan for half an hour. It saves energy and prevents sunburn, and you don't have to walk halfway.
The middle route, aboard a traditional painted boat, is perfect for those who prefer a quieter view. It includes a 70-minute trip from Romantic Square to Qinglong Mountain and a 10-minute trip from Shuangjia Mountain to Tingyuxuan. It also includes a Swan Lake ticket and an unlimited shuttle bus pass for the day, offering excellent value.

Our guide, Mu Layou, was fantastic! He took us on a whirlwind of fun, including eating wild fruits and sour ants. He was incredibly strong, lifting us high and pushing us back down on the swings each time. It was incredibly thrilling. Afterward, he immediately arranged for us to eat. The barbecue, chicken, and fish were all delicious. It was a truly special experience!
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and discover nature on a hike in the Jinuo Mountain rainforest. The total distance is 5 kilometers, 2 kilometers by land and 3 kilometers by water. Along the way, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the rainforest's flora, fauna, environment, and ways of life. Dressed in a "savage costume," we experienced rainforest river tracing, high-altitude swings, tree abseiling, archery, and a rainforest feast, including sour ants and wild Sanya fruit (Banna's version of mangosteen). For families with young children (under 10 years old), we recommend booking a private tour with an experienced indigenous guide, who can provide one-on-one support for the children. Summary: Recommended family itineraries

The scenery is breathtaking, and the sightseeing bus ride is well worth it. Starting from the visitor center, the bus ascends to the summit, where there are six viewing platforms. The bus then descends, passing through Nahui Village and back to the visitor center, making for a one-way loop. The boarding and alighting points are staggered 100 meters apart, minimizing congestion, and there are pavilions nearby. The scenic area's landscaped belt, which passes through Upper, Middle, and Lower Nahui Village, is particularly well-designed. The driver also provides information about the scenic spots. Be aware that during peak season, it can be difficult to find a free bus at the intermediate stops. The rice paddies are also well-preserved for photo opportunities. Visitors can hop off at the National Cultural Square for a meal, allowing them to enjoy photos at their favorite stops without leaving on an empty stomach. For those with extra time, electric carts can be rented for a tour.
I came here in early spring when the rape flowers were in bloom and chose to hike 20 kilometers. In fact, there are many trails leading to the outside of the scenic area, and you don’t necessarily need to buy a ticket if you hike.

The attractions at the Ancient Tea Horse Road Ruins Park are quite good. Through live-action footage, you can see the living conditions of the caravans and the difficult transportation routes of the hippopotamus. The weather was too hot, so we got off the electric car and cable car and walked a long way. We also watched the voice acting and performances. Overall, it was a good experience.
Today I went to the Ancient Tea Horse Road Ruins Park with the children. We saw Capibara, the Yuying performance, and the alpaca scenery. It was very beautiful and everyone had a great time.
