Wuzhen Dongzha has preserved many old buildings that are still inhabited. There are no neat and tidy riverbanks, red lanterns, colorful cruise ships, bars, groups of tourists, or hustle and bustle. There are only a few residents and a few remaining snack and breakfast shops.
A great place for couples to visit and take some nice pictures. Its also quite family friendly and even has some bars for friends to go and drink at.

I went to Wuzhen the day before, and was recommended the Puyuan Fashion Ancient Town by the owner of the B&B. Before coming, I was a little worried that since it was a new ancient town, it would be very commercialized or too new and not have the feeling of an ancient town. But after arriving, I felt very good. There were many scenes that were very suitable for checking in and taking photos, and there were a lot of shades. It was okay to walk around in the hot July sun. Maybe in order to maintain this quaint feeling, many shops along the street do not have air conditioning (it is also very likely to be for energy saving? Haha). You can play in the water on the whole street, and I saw many children having a lot of fun. I will bring my kids here next time.
A newly developed scenic spot with convenient transportation and a large parking lot. The scenery is typical of a Jiangnan water town. The area is quite large. There are many places to check in and take photos. Perhaps because it has not been open for a long time, many shops inside have not been developed yet, so it is suitable for a leisurely stroll.
