The highlight of my trip to Yulin was visiting Wave Valley. It was exhausting! Especially after returning from Mahuangliang the day before. My thighs were sore today that even walking downstairs was difficult. But I still braved the four-hour long loop route. On the way there, I kept complaining I couldn't walk anymore, so I decided to take the short loop. But once we got there, as the Chinese saying goes, "Since we're here, let's just close our eyes and go!"
After four hours, it was still well worth the trip! The scenic area management could use some improvement. The restrooms were unhygienic, some of the wash basins were too small, and some were broken, causing water to accumulate and not drain away. There was a broken vending machine in the rest pavilion at the top of the rainbow stairs. And even though the elevator was useless, I tried to take a break, but found it was out of power... There were also many attractions without staff.
