Lovely place to walk past on the way to the Melbourne museum. This time of the year, there’s autumn leaves covering the walkways. There is even a small pond with some ducks in the corner. And right in front of the royal exhibition hall, there is a fountain where sometimes you will catch couples taking their wedding photos here.
The gardens are huge (26 hectares) and I wandered through them before a theatre performance so only saw a few. Located in the CBD, the gardens are very nice with lots of greenery. There are ducks in the pond. I have to mention the facilities in the park - it includes the Melbourne Museum, the Royal Exhibition Building (closed when I visited) and the IMAX Theatre.

The Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is one of Australia's most famous botanical gardens. It is located on the banks of the Yarra River south of Melbourne's city center and covers an area of about 38 hectares. The garden is famous for its beautiful natural scenery, diverse flora and tranquil environment. It is an ideal place for local residents and tourists to take a leisurely walk. Scenic features: 1. Diverse plant areas The garden has more than 8,500 species of plants, including native Australian plants and rare plants from all over the world. In particular, the Australian rainforest area and the cactus garden show completely different natural landscapes. 2. Lakes and wetlands The central lake (Ornamental Lake) is the core landscape of the garden. The lake reflects the surrounding trees and sky, providing visitors with a peaceful view. There are seats and paths by the lake, suitable for slow walking and relaxation. 3. Hiking and viewing trails There are many trails in the garden that shuttle through the trees. From the winding trails, you can enjoy the natural landscape from different angles, especially in spring and autumn, when the garden is most colorful. 4. Landscape Architecture and Sculptures There are some exquisite pavilions, stone bridges and sculptures in the garden. These buildings are harmoniously integrated with the natural environment, adding cultural and artistic atmosphere to the scenic area. 5. Bird watching and wildlife The garden is home to many kinds of birds, including black swans, parrots and ducks, making it a paradise for bird watchers. In addition, you can occasionally see traces of kangaroos or possums. 6. Seasonal landscape In spring, the garden is full of flowers, especially the rose garden area, which is fragrant; in autumn, maple trees and deciduous plants present brilliant colors of golden and crimson. Featured activities: • Moonlight Cinema During the summer, visitors can enjoy open-air movies on the lawn and experience the combination of nature and culture. • Guided tours and educational activities The botanical garden provides free or paid guided tours to help visitors better understand plants and their ecological significance. Summary The Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is not only a place to appreciate natural beauty, but also a window to experience Australia's unique ecological environment. Whether it's a leisurely walk, a family gathering, or a photography project, this place can bring an unforgettable experience.
I came here for the second time. It is very big and has a lot of green plants. Maybe it is because of autumn, many flowers have withered, but the leaves are still green. There are many flowers and plants that I have never seen before. I saw the red spider lily. [Cost-effective] High [Scenery] Good, not only flowers and plants, but also many ducks, birds and swans.

The garden is unobstructed from the city roads, and it should be beautiful on a sunny day. Unfortunately, when I arrived in Melbourne on the first day, I wanted to sit here and rest for a while, but it suddenly became cloudy and rainy... I had to leave because there was no shelter. Melbourne is known as a garden city: King's Domain Gardens, Fitzroy Gardens, Queen Victoria Gardens, Treasury Park and Royal Botanic Gardens, each with its own characteristics, each worth careful viewing.
Melbourne is surrounded by gardens in all directions, with the ocean to the south. There are Carlton Gardens, Fitzroy Gardens, Treasury Gardens, Botanical Gardens and Flagstaff Gardens. It is a great place to explore and walk through. It is always crowded with visitors enjoying the atmosphere and the fresh air brought by the magnificent trees and plants. The beautiful gardens are the icing on the cake for Melbourne's central business district. The vast lawns and lush trees make exploring Melbourne a great pleasure. They make a lovely backdrop for historical buildings such as the Old Treasury City Museum, Cook's Cottage and more.

I heard that the Chinese employees of Wilson factory said that Dandenong is good. In June 2012, a friend drove a group of three people to Dandenong. There were few cars and people, and the road was unimpeded. As soon as we entered the forest area, our breathing felt much deeper, and we felt energetic and refreshed. There were many people consuming at the mountaintop cafe, but there were still empty seats. We brought barbecue ingredients and barbecued on the lawn slightly lower than the cafe. From memory, this lawn is 6 to 8 meters wide and about 10 meters long. There are 6 barbecue tables, which are divided into two rows, with three in each row. Our barbecue actually attracted several laughing kookaburras, which are a bird unique to Australia and New Guinea. There were also several local Australians who came to taste our barbecue. After the barbecue, we cleaned up thoroughly. The environment here makes people feel very enjoyable and natural.
I visited Dandenong Botanic Gardens with three friends in mid-May and we had a wonderful time there. Firstly, the walking routes in the gardens are well structured. It is very nice to explore different parts of the gardens on foot, especially when the weather is good. Secondly, we saw the scene of green, red and yellow colors at the same time. The shadows on the ponds were beautiful. Finally, the signs were clear and the labels under the plants provided enough information. We had a lot of fun there and the surroundings were also very nice (went to the Sky Cafe for pie before and the Puffing Billy Railway after, both within 15-20 minutes distance.), and highly recommend spending half a day there.

Large parks, Melbourne's most important and prestigious sporting events are also concentrated in magnificent modern facilities. In particular, in addition to special music events including international music festivals, tennis fans can enjoy the legendary Rod Laver Arena, which is the venue for the Australian Open (Grand Slam).
Enjoy the rainforest scenery and watch Australia's rare animals in the Otway National Park. There are many forest hiking routes in the national park for tourists. Tourists who like to get close to nature can also stay here for a while and experience the zero contact with nature.
