[View] Ulan Butong is a three-dimensional landscape blending grassland and forest, with elegant and beautiful Yin and soft in the south, masculine masculinity in the north, colorful feasts in the four seasons, humanistic and natural symphony of lakes and wetlands, and characteristics of biological diversity and multiple experiences.
The tourist highlights of Wulanbutong Grassland are rich and varied, covering natural landscapes, cultural history, special activities and food. The following is a detailed introduction: Natural Landscape - Vast grassland and diverse landforms: Wulanbutong Grassland is located in the Inner Mongolia Plateau, with an average altitude of 1,640 meters, and the grassland is vast. The eastern and central mountain ranges in the scenic area are continuous, and there are many sand dunes in the northwest. There are also wetlands, rivers, lakes, etc. For example, there are large areas of wetlands along the Wulan River and Jiangjun Paozi, with excellent vegetation and rich species.   - Colorful autumn colors of Wucai Mountain: From September to October every year, Wucai Mountain presents a colorful landscape due to its rich vegetation. The birch and poplar trees are yellow, the maple and oak trees turn red, the pines and cypresses are green all year round, and various shrubs are also of different colors, as if the palette has been overturned.  - European style scenery area: The rolling hills and grasslands are dotted with sparse or dense birch trees. The grassland and forest are perfectly integrated, and the scenery is charming, comparable to the European grassland scenery.   - Panlong Gorge: The Sarik River flows through the mountains and ridges in this valley. The steep banks are densely forested, and the valley bottom is covered with water and grass. The river is winding like a dragon for dozens of kilometers.   Humanities and History - Ancient battlefield site: This was the ancient battlefield where Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty personally fought against Galdan. There are ruins such as General Paozi, Twelve Camps, and Tong Guogang's Tomb. It is said that General Paozi was formed by the gushing out of groundwater after the Qing army's artillery scattered Galdan's camel formation.  - Film and TV shooting base: Wulanbutong is a famous film and TV location shooting site. More than 60 film and TV works such as "My Fair Princess", "Kangxi Dynasty" and "Emperor Wu of Han" were filmed here. There are many stone tablets of film and TV dramas in the scenic area, which has become a popular choice for tourists to check in. Special activities and food - Folk culture activities: Grassland Nadam is a traditional Mongolian festival, with horse racing, wrestling, archery and other competitive events. In addition, there are bonfire parties, Wulanbutong Night and other activities, where tourists can sing and dance with herdsmen and experience ethnic culture. - Grassland entertainment projects: You can experience horse riding, camel riding, sand motorcycles, sand sliding and other entertainment projects, galloping on the grassland, feeling the pleasure of the wind whistling in your ears, or take an off-road vehicle deep into the hinterland of the grassland to explore those little-known beauties. - Mongolian specialties: There are meat delicacies such as roasted lamb legs, beer-baked lamb, and air-dried beef, as well as special drinks such as kumis. Visitors can taste the authentic Mongolian flavor.

The Badaling Great Wall is magnificent and imposing, with its walls resembling a giant dragon winding along the mountain ridge, dotted with watchtowers and exuding a grand and majestic aura. Although the climb is somewhat strenuous, the panoramic view from the summit inspires a sense of national pride, truly living up to the saying, "He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man."
Standing on the beacon tower of the Badaling Great Wall, gazing into the distance against the mountain wind, you'll understand why the saying goes, "He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true hero"— This is not just a poem, but a genuine resonance felt by every climber upon reaching it. **The awe begins at first sight.** As the winding dragon rushes along the mountain ridge and disappears into the depths of the clouds, the visual impact is indescribable. The Badaling Great Wall perfectly embodies the wisdom of "using natural defenses to create a fortified position"—it doesn't mechanically extend, but follows the contours of the mountains, sometimes clinging to the ridge, sometimes soaring over sheer cliffs. The watchtowers are densely packed, the crenellations impeccably constructed, and even in sections that have been repaired, the wall retains its rugged strength. **Climbing is a two-way journey with history.** Touching the mottled bricks, the deep and shallow engravings are the diary of time. The steps beneath your feet are smoothed by countless footsteps, some slopes so steep that you need to hold onto the railings. This in itself is a metaphor—**climbing the Great Wall is never an easy journey, but every step of the effort will be rewarded upon reaching the summit.** When you stand breathless in the watchtower, imagining the soldiers who stood guard here eight hundred years ago, watching the same mountains change with the seasons, a profound sense of history washes over you. **Beautiful in Every Season, Each with Its Own Charm** **Spring:** Wildflowers bloom in profusion, making the Great Wall appear both strong and gentle amidst the sea of flowers. **Summer:** Surrounded by lush greenery, the watchtowers offer a cool breeze, like natural air conditioning. **Autumn:** Forests are ablaze with color, making the Great Wall appear like a golden dragon weaving across a colorful canvas. **Winter:** Covered in silver, the Great Wall transforms into a picturesque ink painting. **Traveler's Advice:** • Wear comfortable, non-slip shoes; this is the most basic respect for the Great Wall. • Don't be fixated on the highest point; each watchtower offers a unique view. • Early mornings have the fewest tourists, allowing for the clearest photos; evening light is the gentlest, perfect for quiet contemplation. Of course, this place is bustling with tourists year-round. But miraculously, **if you stand still for a moment at any of the battlements, watching the Great Wall stretch endlessly into the mountains, the hustle and bustle of the world naturally fades away**—at that moment, you are not touching stones, but time itself; you are not climbing steps, but the backbone of a nation. Badaling may not be the most "wild" section of the Great Wall, but it is undoubtedly one of the sections that best showcases its grandeur. Like a generous teacher, it tells you in the most direct way: **why this unassuming brick and stone structure can become the most resilient symbol of an ancient civilization.** This is not just a tour, but a dialogue with a thousand years of history. When you turn to leave, you take away not only photos, but also a strength of perseverance and protection ingrained in your very being.

Driving up the mountain, the Sky Meadow is a great place for camping and leisure. The hiking trails include leisure and climbing, and the overall difficulty is not high. The scenery is good during the National Day holiday. There is water along the way, the autumn leaves have turned red, and the distant mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist. It is worth a day trip.
Camping in the alpine meadows was so comfortable! It's pet-friendly, so it was a great experience bringing your dog. The road around the lake was also nice, but it was a bit crowded. The mountain road is a bit winding, but the scenery is worth the price of admission!

The scenery is particularly great. I caught up with the most beautiful time of the Colorful Forest. Off-road is also highly recommended. When playing the package project, the order was messed up. The staff arranged to take the sightseeing bus again for free, which is very humane.
The autumn color on the dam is picturesque. The autumn on the dam is a colorful fairy tale world and a holy place for photographers. Starting in early September, the leaves on the dam began to change color in a large number, and loudly proclaimed to the world that the colorful dam has arrived, and since then the autumn is not lonely, only beautiful, heart-warming!

From desert to oasis change miracle. Saihanba: from desert to oasis miracle journey, witness nature. and human tenacity "do you know? The desert that once changed" has become today's green paradise, behind this, countless people adhere to and dream. When I first stepped on the land of Saihanba, this sentence was deeply engraved in my heart. Saihanba, located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is a once desolate and barren desert area. Decades ago, there was almost no greenery here, and the wind and sand were raging. The living conditions are extremely bad. However, it is this desert that has become a miracle witness to China's ecological civilization construction. Today, Saihanba National Forest Park has become a national ecological reserve, known as the "green miracle". The wide forest coverage rate is more than 60%, and the air is fresh. The scenery is charming. Standing high overlooking the green sea, the dunes are covered in green, a vibrant scenery. I was deeply shocked by the natural beauty of this place for a few days in Saihanba. In the morning, the morning mist was lingering, and the sun was spilling on the wet land through the treetops. The air is filled with the fresh aroma of soil and pine needles. Walking along the forest path, you can occasionally see wildlife - squirrels and birds jumping happily on the branches. In addition to the natural scenery, the human story of Saihanba is also moving. Forest workers and researchers here, with countless sweat and wisdom, guard this green home. Their persistence and dedication are the driving force behind the continuous development of this oasis, Saihan Dam story tells us: even in the face of the desert, we can use tenacity and wisdom to create miracles. This is not only a victory for ecological protection, but also a model of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature. Every green leaf and every tree is a symbol of hope. I believe that everyone can contribute to our planet like the guardians of Saihanba. Whether it is saving water, reducing pollution, or participating in tree planting, every effort can gather into a power to change the world. A spiritual baptism, a sublimation of life, Saihanba becomes a tourist destination. If you are eager to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, look for a clean land, Saihanba is definitely your ideal place. Here, you can not only appreciate the magic of nature, but also feel the tenacity of human spirit. Let the miracle of Saihanba pass on forever, and become the infinite hope for a better future that inspires each of us. Come to Saihanba and start a journey of spiritual cleansing! There are not only shocking natural scenes. Views, but also inspiring stories waiting for you to discover. Green future, starting with every action. If you like this article, don't forget to like it and deliver this miracle! #Saihan Dam #Green Miracle #Ecoprotection #
It is a part of the royal hunting ground of the Qing Dynasty and Mulan Paddock. There are lakes, hills, grasslands, forests, and many kinds of plants and animals. The temperature is not high in summer. It is a summer resort and a 4A-level scenic spot.

The scenery is really something. There are not many people on National Day, and it is very photogenic. The shuttle bus sometimes comes and goes, sometimes there is no one, which makes the experience a little worse. Everything else is good. In addition, the wind is very strong, so please be careful to keep warm.
It was a wonderful trip. Due to bad weather, we skipped other more distant grasslands and came to Hadamen instead. I didn't expect the grasslands to be so beautiful. It was just rainy on the way down. Why is Hohhot so rainy this year? It really dampened my interest in the trip.

The sunset is beautiful, the alpine grassland is stunning, the scenic area is very convenient to drive by, the ticket is still a bit expensive, the scenery is still better in summer. Navigate to Tianci Grassland and drive all the way up. When you see the sign of Sky Grassland, go a little higher and you can watch the sunset. Remember to bring a down jacket
When Master Zhang contacted us one day in advance, he would tell us what you wanted to know. Thanks to Master Zhang's foresight, we successfully avoided the traffic jam. After the trip, the local food recommended by Master Zhang was also very good. Chartering a car really gives you a lot of freedom.

The scenery is amazing, and we share the same ticket with Hamaba. The road is narrow, so traffic jams are common. There's a restroom at the entrance, but it's so unhygienic that you can't even step in. There's a ticket inspector at the entrance to Birch Valley, but they didn't offer any advice, just asked us to show our tickets. Alas.
Birch Valley is truly beautiful and worth a visit. If you're just looking to enjoy the scenery along the way, don't buy a ticket. The entrance fee is only charged for smaller attractions, and there's really nothing much to see; it's just a close-up view. Tickets also come with little to no service. But since you're here, buying a ticket is a contribution to the economy, and you still have to pay for maintenance.

Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find a place where you can gaze at the mountains, relax, and unwind? Wild Duck Lake National Wetland Park in Yanqing, Beijing, is definitely worth a visit! As a 4A-rated scenic spot, every photo here is a breathtaking sight. It's fun and photogenic, and I've compiled a super practical guide for those who haven't been yet! Must-See Highlights: A Nature Lover's Delight An Ecological Spectacle of Mountains and Water: The park is nourished by the Guanting Reservoir. On one side, the shimmering lake is framed, and in the distance, you can see cascading green mountains. On clear days, the blue sky reflects off the water, creating an expansive view. Walking along the wooden boardwalk feels like stepping into a landscape painting. - "Ducklings" are a common sight: You don't have to look for them; you can often see wild ducks swimming by the lake and in the reeds. If you're lucky, you might even spot egrets, cranes, and other waterfowl. Remember to bring some breadcrumbs (in small amounts, to protect the environment) so you can watch them pecking at food up close. - Reed marshes are a true gem for capturing photos: In spring and summer, the reeds are a refreshing green, turning golden in autumn and winter. The wind sways the layers of reed spikes, creating a natural, artistic effect. Standing by the plank road, taking photos of faces or backs creates a natural, artistic effect. The sunset in the evening is even more stunning. Tips 1. Transportation: Driving from the city is the most convenient, taking about 1.5-2 hours, with ample parking. Alternatively, you can take the high-speed rail to Yanqing Station and then take a taxi for about 20 minutes. 2. Best Time: March to May to watch migratory birds, September to November to enjoy the autumn scenery. Avoid the midday sun; the softer light in the morning and evening is more suitable for photography. 3. Equipment Tips: Wear comfortable sneakers (the park is large, so you'll have a lot of walking), sunglasses, and a hat for sun protection. Bring a portable telescope if you're looking for a less crowded place where you can slow down and appreciate nature. Wild Duck Lake is a great choice. Spending a weekend stroll there will leave you feeling particularly relaxed.
Beijing Wild Duck Lake National Wetland Park is located at the foot of the Badaling Great Wall of the World Cultural Heritage Site and on the shore of the Guanting Reservoir of the "Jianguo First Library" of New China. It is the first national wetland park in the country. The park follows the core principles of "preservation priority, scientific restoration, reasonable utilization and sustainable development". Aim at "building a national wetland park with a first-class domestic and world-renowned wetland biodiversity and water resources protection in one". G6 National Expressway, Beijing-Li Expressway, 110 National Road, 880, 919, Beijing-Zhangzhou High-speed Railway, S2 and other inter-provincial buses, The railway system constitutes a convenient and smooth external traffic network of Wild Duck Lake National Wetland Park, and there is also a direct bus to the entrance of the scenic spot. Country Inn, farmyard, lake fresh restaurant, organic farm, tourist service center, service station, ecological tour trail, Personalized riding, environmental protection sightseeing cars, electric cruise ships, etc. cover six tourism elements for food, lodging, travel, shopping and entertainment. 368 species of birds recorded in the Wild Duck Lake Wetland, 22 species of birds are protected at the national level, 63 species of birds are protected at the national level, 501 species of plants, 25 species of fish, and 432 species of insects.
