It was a lonely stroll. The pandas all hid behind the glass to enjoy the air conditioning, so I could only see them through the glass. There were also so many people that I spent most of the time walking around in circles outside and couldn't see the pandas at all. The environment was still pretty good at some point.
Families, don't miss the Giant Panda Breeding Base when you visit Chengdu! Entering the base, you're greeted by a lush greenery and fresh air, feeling like you've stepped into the pandas' natural home. The grounds are enormous, offering ample space for the pandas to roam freely. The living quarters are incredibly comfortable, reminiscent of their natural habitat. There are a surprising number of pandas here, representing all ages. Early in the morning, we spotted many pandas at work. Some feasted on bamboo, their cheeks puffing out; others strolled leisurely across the grass; and still others played playfully on the climbing frames, their chubby faces captivating everyone. The red panda enclosure is also incredibly fun, with the adorable, reddish-brown creatures darting about the trees. The base also offers excellent educational opportunities, including a museum and a science center, offering insights into pandas' habits, breeding practices, and conservation status. The staff and volunteers are incredibly welcoming and patiently answer any questions. The cultural and creative shop also has a wide selection of goods, including incredibly cute and exquisitely crafted panda merchandise. I bought tons of them as souvenirs. The only caveat is that the area is packed with tourists, so it's best to leave early and head straight for popular areas like the Moon Delivery Room as soon as it opens. This way, you'll have an easier time seeing the adorable pandas! I highly recommend it; it's totally worth the trip!

If you don't want a tour guide and just want to see the dam, you still need to get an audio guide. It is recommended that the scenic area put audio guides for rent at each gate, so that many tourists who do not want a tour guide can rent an audio guide at different locations and return it when they leave, without having to go back.
It's a place worth visiting. The panoramic view from Yanshi Tower is great. The bridge is very good. It's ok to watch the show. It has local characteristics. I went to pay my respects to Li Bing and his wife, father and son, and their family. Erlang Shen is in the main hall, and Li Bing and his wife are in the back hall. Starting from Yanshi Tower, the whole journey is not tiring. The Wind and Rain Corridor Bridge is beautiful.

I heard that it is difficult to book tickets for Sanxingdui, so I never thought about going there. Not long ago, they held an exhibition of Sanxingdui at the Beijing Capital Museum. I went to see it and found that the Large Standing Man was not the real thing, but a smaller version. So I decided to come to Sanxingdui to see it in person. The tickets for Sanxingdui are quite easy to buy. The exhibits are very exquisite and the craftsmanship is very complicated. I wonder how they did it thousands of years ago. I won’t say much here. If you are interested, you should go to the scene to experience it in person.
The explanation was very detailed and patient, but the overall duration exceeded the original time limit. Sanxingdui still needs an explanation; it would be completely confusing if I were to read it on my own. I thought Du Fu's Thatched Cottage was small, but it turned out to be incredibly large. I couldn't find the exit in the end. 😁 The thatched cottage described in the poem "The Thatched Cottage Broken by the Autumn Wind," the stone statue of Du Fu, his friendship with Li Bai, and the charming garden are well worth a visit.
The tickets are a bit expensive, but the overall environment is good. There are not many things left by Du Fu, and most of them are newly renovated. The weather is hot and it is a bit stuffy inside, but everything else is good.

Who in my family understands? Mount Emei is absolutely stunning, with its sea of clouds, sunrise, and Golden Summit. But the ticket price is really expensive, including the ticket, cable car, and sightseeing bus. It's a real drain on your wallet!
In the summer, it was only 27 degrees Celsius on the mountain. We took the sightseeing bus and cable car throughout the trip, so it became a leisurely tour. We didn't climb much. We wanted to walk down the mountain, but the bus stopped at zero kilometer. There was no mountain road leading there. We had luggage and took the sightseeing bus back. It is recommended to travel light. For self-driving tours, it is recommended to stop at Baoguo Temple. If you want to watch the sunrise, you can either climb at night or stay at the Jinding Hotel. The accommodation at Jinding is 600 to 1200 per night, and 200 to 400 at Leidongping. The cable car is 120 per person. We are a family of five and stayed in Leidongping. We wanted to climb at night, but we didn't go because it rained. The hotel we stayed in didn't have toothbrushes, toothpaste, or combs, so we had to bring our own! The monkeys in Leidongping only appear in large groups after 6 pm when there are fewer tourists.

Taking the kids to the Wuhou Temple was a fantastic experience! The red walls and bamboo shadows were beyond cinematic, and the kids kept asking about the Three Kingdoms story. The guide even used animation to explain the "devotion to the country," which was a great way to learn some history. The kids also loved the Zhuge Liang bookmarks in the cultural and creative area. It was both educational and entertaining, making this a worthwhile family trip!
The setting is wonderful, and the exhibitions on the Three Kingdoms and the imperial examinations are worth a closer look. The order of the statues in the corridors of civil and military officials on either side of Liu Bei Hall is particularly intriguing; I spent a long time studying them before I could grasp the rationale. Furthermore, Prime Minister Zhuge Liang's altar table provided a great platform for interaction, and it was fascinating to see the modern tributes presented to him. From coffee and heartfelt notes to Dongfeng Express and playing cards, it was truly moving!

Entering from the east gate, it's a short walk to the Buddha's head. It's especially crowded in the summer, so waiting in line for half an hour to get to the foot platform can be quite long. The area is quite large, and exploring it completely would probably take a whole day. Just visiting the several Buddha heads and the main temples would take five or six hours. There are plenty of restaurants just outside the entrance for food.

Asked about Qingcheng Mountain. Originally, because of the high return of Tokugawa West, the family went to Qingcheng Mountain. The scenery was good, but there was no big surprise. However, the Taoist culture is really recommended. Only those who understand it will understand.
I've long heard of Mount Qingcheng, and when visiting Chengdu, how could I not climb it? The weather wasn't kind, and it rained heavily. Although I was soaked, Mount Qingcheng is even more breathtaking in the rain. Mount Qingcheng is divided into two scenic areas: the Front Mountain and the Back Mountain. The Front Mountain is primarily devoted to Taoist culture, while the Back Mountain is dominated by natural landscapes. The steps on Mount Qingcheng are steep, narrow, and somewhat continuous. The climb to the summit involves several steep, steep sections, which is quite steep. This makes the scenery seem even more profound. Along the way, towering ancient trees and gurgling streams are seen. Occasionally, large and small waterfalls hang from the cliffs, and clouds and mist billow. The ancient architecture and Taoist culture complement each other beautifully, and the moss-covered roofs give off a sense of age. You can ascend the Front Mountain by cable car, which is easier, but you won't be able to see the ancient buildings. Alternatively, you can hike up and down the mountain, following a clockwise loop without backtracking. This method is more physically demanding and the descent is steeper and more challenging than the ascent, which can be tough on your knees. I chose to climb up the mountain and take the cable car down, so I could see almost all the cultural attractions and climb the mountain. Oh, and there is a small Yuecheng Lake there. The boat ticket is 5 yuan one way. If your legs are shaking after coming down the mountain, you can go out this way and save some climbing.

Colorful Yaochi and Huanglong are really beautiful and shocking. Life is worth it! However, there are also common problems in large scenic spots, such as crowded, commercialized, and not very free. However, it is also a protection of the beautiful scenery.
If you can get to Jiuzhaigou, you should go, and if you have access to a ride, you should. It's truly a beautiful sight, and a must-see before you die.

The scenery is very beautiful. If the weather is good, you can take better photos. It is very beautiful. After entering the scenic area, you can take a bus directly to the end point to play downstream. There are many scenic spots, which requires some physical strength. However, there are few tourists getting off at the last scenic spot. The bus basically relies on crowding. It is still about 10 kilometers down the mountain. Adults can squeeze and stand for a while, but children may be annoyed. I have no physical strength after playing for so long. The bus driver has good skills. There are many bends and narrow roads. You will be thrown up in minutes. Our child vomited all the way
not a must see as the views in 九寨沟/黄龙 are better although much more crowded. would only suggest it if you have too much time in Cheng Du. will only take about 3-4hours but more if you intend to see everything. each spot needs you to take the shuttle bus and are not really walkable. the lazy river ride down is an additional RMB90/pax but worth a try
