Hemu Village Review Natural Scenery: Hemu Village is a fairytale in every season. In autumn, the forests are ablaze with color, with birch trees and wooden houses shrouded in golden and crimson hues, and the morning mist lingers like a fairyland. In winter, the village is blanketed in snow, with the peaked wooden houses covered in powdery snow and the icy blue Hemu River forming a picture of ice and snow. In spring, wildflowers bloom, and in summer, the greenery is lush, each scene a masterpiece from "God's palette." Cultural Experiences: The Tuva log villages are quaint and tranquil, with curling smoke filling the air with the aroma of life. Horseback riding to watch the sunrise, strolling across the Hemu Bridge, savoring earthen hot pot, or gazing at the stars at night, all offer an immersive experience in the romance of "God's Private Reserve." Practical Tips: Accommodation: Book popular B&Bs in advance. Heyun Inn offers excellent value and a warm and comfortable stay. Transportation: A round-trip horseback ride to the observation deck costs about 100 yuan. Depart early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Season: Autumn colors are stunning from September to October, while winter scenery is pristine after December, making Hemu a photography enthusiast's paradise. Summary: Hemu is a utopia tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Whether it's the stunning natural offerings or the soothing cultural and culinary delights, it's worth a repeat visit.
The Hemu Scenic Area is indeed very beautiful, with colorful vegetation, rushing colorful rivers, and mist-shrouded mountains. The beauty of nature is combined with the historical masterpieces of our ancestors: log houses with strong ethnic colors, and the ancient suspension bridge across the Hemu River. Climbing up to the observation deck next to the village, you can take in all the beautiful scenery... These beautiful scenery are all within a radius of no more than 1 kilometer around Hemu Village, but the tourist center is a few kilometers away. In addition to Hemu Village, even the surrounding Hemu Villa and most of the places that provide food and accommodation are included in the scenic area. If you want to stay overnight, you need to put your luggage on the shuttle bus into the scenic area, and then contact the hotel for pick-up. Hotels in the scenic area are generally expensive and very inconvenient... If you want to visit Hemu Village, it is recommended to plan your itinerary and try not to stay in the Hemu Scenic Area.

We drove from northern Xinjiang back to southern Xinjiang and passed by Kuitun. We stopped by and had a general experience. I don't think it's necessary to come here specifically to see it. The Yadan landform is not very spectacular.
I didn't have much hope at first, but when I got to the scenic spot, I was amazed. The service was well organized, the karst landforms were super photogenic, and the key point was that the prices of restaurants in the scenic area were the same as in the city. It's unbelievable. I really have to give a thumbs up to this.

Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar can satisfy all your travel fantasies. First: it has a unique architectural style suitable for taking photos and checking in. Second: it offers a rich shopping experience, with Hetian jade, musical instruments, raisins, and you can also taste freshly baked naan. Third: it also has authentic Xinjiang cuisine. Fourth: it allows tourists to experience Xinjiang's folk culture up close. Fifth: you can feel the rich Xiyu style. Sixth: you can understand Xinjiang's history and culture.
Step into the Grand Bazaar and be instantly surrounded by lively and bustling. The colorful buildings are full of exotic customs, and the air is filled with the aroma of food. The stalls are rich in goods, from exquisite handicrafts to special dried fruits, which makes people picky. And the price is close to the people, you can get full of things just strolling around, it's really good to go shopping!

Eating here is like traveling back in time 🕌 | Recommended restaurants in Kashgar Old City When visiting Kashgar Old City, you absolutely can't miss this Xinjiang restaurant! The moment you enter, you'll be blown away: stained glass, arched doors, carved chandeliers... the atmosphere is simply stunning, like a real-life version of "One Thousand and One Nights" 🌙. Eating here, you feel like you've become a character in the ancient city's stories. 🍴 Must-Try Dishes • Big Plate Chicken: The chicken is perfectly stewed, the potatoes are soft and fragrant, and paired with wide noodles, it's the ultimate in flavor! The spiciness is just right, making it incredibly satisfying. • Yak Beef with Baursak: The meat is rich and chewy, paired with a golden, fluffy flatbread. One bite is salty and the other is crispy—a truly unique combination! • Xinjiang Horse Intestine Pizza: The absolute highlight! This fusion of traditional horse intestines and cheese pizza is rich in savory flavor with a touch of creativity. When it's served, everyone exclaims, "What a face!" ✨ Environment & Service The restaurant is spacious and the decor is incredibly photogenic, making any photo you take a trip to the next level a true masterpiece. Whether you're here for a quick nap during the day or enjoying a lighted evening meal, the atmosphere is truly captivating. The staff are also very friendly, and even if you're new here and don't know how to order, they'll patiently explain the specialties and recommend combinations, so you don't have to worry about disappointing customers. 💡 Tips The prices are slightly higher than average, but the ambiance and specialties are absolutely worth it. It's a great place to bring friends, family, or for group events! Perfect for dining and taking photos. 📍 Located in the Kashgar Old Town scenic area, stop by after exploring the old city for a quick check-in!
It's worth a visit. The people are very nice and unique. Everyone in the city speaks Uyghur, except for tourists. People there seem to prioritize appearances. Even on a hot day, the older men in suits and hats, and the women in vibrant long dresses, are stunning. They're quite sophisticated, and it feels like being abroad. I love it!

This is a scenic spot in the Jiaohe Ancient City Scenic Area. It is not very good. As you enter, you will see the landscape inside a man-made building. There are almost no ancient things in the scenic spot. Overall, it seems to be a newly built scenic spot on the land of the ancient village.
The Jiaohe Ancient City witnessed the prosperity and transformation of the Silk Road, and its rich history deserves further exploration. Once a crucial political, economic, and cultural center in the ancient Western Regions, this ancient city boasts a rich cultural heritage. Having survived through multiple dynasties, Jiaohe Ancient City showcases architectural styles and urban planning from various historical periods. Today, as a significant cultural site, Jiaohe Ancient City attracts countless visitors who come to experience its historical charm. We should work together to preserve and pass on this precious historical legacy.

We went at the end of August. The sun was very bright during the day and there were not many people around. As the night went on, the crowds gradually increased. The park isn't very large, so 2 hours is enough if you don't watch the evening show. We recommend entering around 7pm.
Due to the influence of the overall environment, there are not many tourists in the scenic area. Although it is an ancient city built by modern people, it is an experience for tourists who have never been to or do not understand the Western Regions. There is no need to be obsessed with whether it is an ancient city!

Strolling along Yining's Liuxing Street, sunlight bathes the streets in an exotic atmosphere. Century-old alleys wind like poems, their blue walls and stained glass windows telling the story of time. Uyghur artisans strike bronze instruments, their clinking echoing through time. The aroma of baked buns fills the street corners, and the rhythm of hand drums awakens the dormant bricks and tiles. Every tile here is engraved with a story, and behind every carved wooden door lies a warm smile. The hexagonal streets and alleys, like blooming flowers, quietly embrace diverse cultures.
On Liuxing Street, there are three recommended dry rice. I have eaten it. It is all a popular store. The first is Gulandam ice cream. The decoration is a bit ins style. The ice cream is 9 yuan and 9 yuan, and then the jam can be added casually. Very good, many people. The second is the blue wall lungs. It is the CCTV that has been photographed. I bought a small portion of 8 yuan. If you like to eat lamb, you can also add money to add materials. The third is Wusun Milk Tea House, which is authentic Kazakh milk tea. I think it is a bit unaccustomed to drinking, because it is sweet and salty, but it is also very good to taste once.

Baguacheng is well worth a visit. Riding an electric donkey in the nighttime breeze was so relaxing. We had the breakfast recommended by the B&B owner, but unfortunately, we arrived late and missed out on the delicious pancakes. However, the owner ordered all the street food for us: delicious lamb skewers, dumplings, cold noodles, pepper chicken, and sauerkraut noodles... He even made milk tea for us. I wasn't used to it, but it was so touching. Afterward, we checked out at every shop and even had crayfish. Hahaha. I ate so many skewers and big plate chicken that I thought crayfish was even better. 🔴Xiwei Fast Food Restaurant. Xibe flatbread is a Xibe specialty, only found in Yili. Freshly made white pancakes are served with cauliflower, chive chili sauce, milk tea, and a delicious jerk. 🔴Ruyan Farmhouse Courtyard👍🏻 This Hui-style stir-fry restaurant is also quite good. The spicy pork and Kazakh potato chips are excellent. 🔴 Ma Bai Kailai's lamb chops and sliced pork slices are a Xinjiang specialty, and Dingjia Private Kitchen is also quite good, a Xinjiang specialty. 🔴The next morning, I went to Apa's milk tea house and had baolsak. It's delicious, with jam or cheese. It's absolutely delicious. I also had a lot of noodles, but they were still very tasty. 🔴Recommended things to do in the county town: 1. Li Street, a street with ethnic minority characteristics, perfect for taking photos and pictures. There's Gulai Dam ice cream there that you must try. It's open day or night, free of charge. 2. Tai Chi Altar, similar to the Tekes Museum, learn about the city's history and I Ching culture. You can see the eight streets of the Bagua City. Admission is 20 yuan per person, and it's open day or night. 3. The City That Never Sleeps, with ethnic minority song and dance performances, bonfires, mermaids, and more, is perfect for evenings. Free of charge. 4. The I Ching Cultural Park, where you can learn about I Ching culture, the Eight Trigrams, and other things. There's a fee, about 20 yuan per person, so it's best to go during the day. 5. The Tai Chi Eye Ferris Wheel, perfect for nighttime viewing. At night, you can visit Tai Chi Altar, the City That Never Sleeps, and another great place to check out: the Apa Grand Bazaar.
Tekes Bagua City, the most "Bagua" city in China. I never expected that there would be such a city with strong Taoist elements in Yili, Xinjiang, outside the Great Wall. Its layout is like a huge Bagua formation. There are no traffic lights in the main urban area. The streets are like a maze, and Bagua elements are everywhere. Karajun of the world is Bagua City of China. This place was once the Wusun tribe in the Han Dynasty, the Western Liao Dynasty in the Song Dynasty, and the Yili General's Mansion in the Qing Dynasty. A Bagua City opening ceremony and a song "Tekes Welcome You" raised the enthusiasm for tourism to the highest point.

Located in the center of Urumqi, Hongshan Park is a free attraction, and it is also a must-play attraction in Urumqi. After entering the park through security check, go straight all the way up, pass the Big Buddha Temple, and overlook the building (you need to pay ten yuan per person to climb the building) to reach the iconic building Hongshan Tower. Across the Red Mountain Tower, you can see the whole picture of the city center of Urumqi.
Urumqi Hongshan Park is located in the city center and is a national tourist attraction. The park is named for Hongshan, and the mountain is red. The park has Hongshan Tower, Big Buddha Temple, Yuanyulou and other attractions, as well as green spaces, lakes and other natural landscapes. It is a comprehensive natural mountain park integrating tourism, classical characteristics, humanistic connotation, and sports and fitness. It is a national 4A-level tourist scenic spot. It is also one of the new ten scenes of Urumqi City. It is a free park and personally feels worth a visit.

The Gaotai residence is the best attraction I feel in Kashgar this time. Feel the cultural atmosphere between different ethnic groups. The streets and lanes in the scenic spot are crisscrossed and horizontal, and ethnic characteristics can be displayed everywhere. Free visit now.
The Kashgar Gaotai Dwellings, preserved as a heritage park, boast over 600 houses built of mud and poplar wood. They stretch across a gently sloping landscape, with lanes ranging from 6 meters wide to just 1.5 meters narrow. While the houses appear shabby, the sunlight filtering through their walls creates a unique charm.
