I went there before the National Day holiday, so there were fewer tourists. After the rain, there was a lot of fog on the mountain, so many attractions were not visible. There were less than 2,000 steps to climb up the mountain. The cable car took me to the scenic spots, which were basically at the same altitude. The air was very good, so it was worth visiting.
It is a 5A-level scenic spot in the local area, but compared with other famous places such as Huangshan, the scenery is still far behind. There are minibuses to Nanjiang County at the bus station in Bazhong, but it is more troublesome to go to Guangwu Mountain. Fortunately, we met a few friends who were also traveling to Guangwu Mountain that day, so the minibus took us directly there and picked us up, solving the big problem of transportation.

Shennongjia is still worth visiting. Don't join a tour group. Drive by yourself or charter a car to travel freely. You can adjust the itinerary according to the weather. For example, on our first day in Shennong Valley and Shennongding, it was raining and foggy and we couldn't see anything. So we went down the mountain to Dajiu Lake and saw Dajiu Lake on a clear day. We stayed at the entrance of Dajiu Lake Scenic Area. We got up early the next day to see the morning fog and then returned to Shennongding and Shennongding. When the weather cleared, we could see everything.

I can only say that the scenic area is very large and driving is relatively convenient. However, since we chartered a car, we were unable to go further after a certain point, which was really disappointing. We had to take the scenic bus instead. The scenic area is well-managed, no problem, but the experience was still not good. It's a two-hour drive from Baoji City. The weather is good, ranging from cool to cold. It's a good weekend trip, but this weekend it rained and was a bit cold. The cloudy weather made it impossible to take beautiful photos. The smell of cow, horse, and sheep manure was overwhelming, which was a lifesaver.
This was my second time at Guanshan Ranch, originally for the zipline. My kids had been there a few years ago and loved it, so now that they're grown, I wanted to try it again. Unexpectedly, the equipment is closed for maintenance until 2025. We each took a set of travel photos for Guanshan. The grasslands are photogenic, especially for the kids; every one is a masterpiece. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Guanshan Grassland and the herds of cattle and horses.
We found a small restaurant for lunch. It was really busy during peak season, so there was no shortage of customers, but the food was quite perfunctory. It was a bit overcast when we arrived, so the sun wasn't directly shining, but it was still very hot. We arrived at 10:40 AM and it was a cool 20 degrees.

The scenery is very beautiful, it's like the Little Switzerland of Shaanxi, haha. The cableway is very long, and it's basically vertical up and down at the end. There's a lot of fog and the temperature difference is big. It's recommended to wear a jacket.
