It's a very interesting place. The ancient town is exquisite, and strolling around and taking photos is very relaxing. It also feels like a good place for sketching, with many old buildings that blend classical and modern culture. Most importantly, it's pet-friendly.
This authentic ancient village not only features Hui-style architecture and flowing water, but also retains many local villagers. It has a very low commercial atmosphere, yet offers convenient services. It's definitely worth experiencing.

At Taohuatan in Anhui Province, the serene waters reflect the green mountains, and the ancient shores are steeped in poetry. A boat journeys through the misty waters, where the ruins of the Wanjia Hotel speak of a millennium of friendship. Every scene seems to have emerged from the poetry of Li Bai, leaving you mesmerized and unable to find your way back.
It's ok, but I couldn't find the entrance after searching for a long time. The sign is not very clear. The ticket plus the boat ticket is cost-effective. It's not expensive. The entrance fee is mainly for Wang Lun's former residence and the town. The bamboo rafting instructions are not clear. It's a pity that I didn't get on the raft. The infrastructure of the scenic area still needs to be improved.

I went when it wasn't crowded. I found a guide at the entrance. It was inexpensive and the explanations were excellent. Excellent value. When visiting ancient villages in southern Anhui, you need a guide to appreciate the significance of the scenery. I'll go again next time.
This scenic spot was probably designated a 5A scenic spot because of President Hu's leadership. It's not very large overall, and a quick tour can easily be completed in under an hour. The more distinctive features include the Hu Family Ancestral Hall, the memorial archway, the Rainbow Bridge, and the Bench Bridge. The Rainbow Bridge is beautiful for photos, and the Bench Bridge is quite interesting; you should definitely visit it and experience the experience of crossing a bridge that's only wide enough for two people and has no handrails.

Jingting Mountain has been a birthplace of poets since ancient times. Li Bai left behind the famous line, "We gaze at each other without weariness, only Jingting Mountain and I." The legend of Princess Yuzhen is deeply moving, and the vast tea gardens are serene and tranquil. More than 300 literati and scholars throughout history, including Bai Juyi, Du Mu, Ouyang Xiu, Huang Tingjian, Su Shi, Wen Tianxiang, Tang Xianzu, and Zhao Puchu, have followed in the footsteps of Xie Tiao and Li Bai to Jingting Mountain, where they have composed poems and essays, expressing their feelings about the mountain scenery and their aspirations. The mountain exudes a rich cultural atmosphere.
Aside from the abundance of poems, there's not much else to see. The mountain is actually quite challenging to climb. I read online guides and thought it was just a small hill, but I almost died there. Be prepared if you're planning to visit. This time, I first went to Peach Blossom Pool, then climbed Jingting Mountain. Compared to Peach Blossom Pool, Jingting Mountain was much better (although neither was particularly interesting), at least it made me realize it was a tourist attraction.

We went during the National Day holiday, so it was a bit crowded. On a normal day, the photos would have been fantastic. Inside the park, you can see the rice paper production process, experience how paper is made from pulp, and how it's dried. There's also a wealth of cultural and creative exhibits, including an exhibition of exquisite paper crafts. It's a truly wonderful experience. Outside the park, there are roadside farmhouses where you can sample local cuisine.
This expansive museum, spread over three floors, showcases the history and production techniques of Xuan paper, along with displays of Xuan paper-making tools, calligraphy, and paintings. The museum boasts a unique architectural style, attracting many visitors for photo opportunities. However, being August, the weather was hot, and the air conditioning was insufficient. I strayed onto the rooftop walkway, which was incredibly sunny. Furthermore, the museum lacks clear signage and information leading to the workshop, the exhibition hall at the back, and the third-floor exhibition hall. I hope this will be improved in the future.

There are only two slopes, and you still get soaked. The rest are for the elderly. The green mountains and green waters are quite comfortable. I like the elderly. It is comfortable and cool to lie down all the time. The 30-degree temperature feels like 20 degrees on the boat. The water is a bit dirty when you are about to reach the end. There is a free shuttle bus back to the starting point at the end. If you want to change clothes, you still have to park your car at the end and take the shuttle bus to the starting point.
During the National Day holiday, I arrived at Moon Bay Bamboo Rafting at 8:30 AM. It wasn't crowded, so I jumped on the raft and started rafting straight away. The six-kilometer journey was filled with beautiful scenery, and the stream was clear and the current was gentle. It was a great place to play in the water anytime.

This time I hiked the Huihang Ancient Trail in reverse, which took 4 hours. It's suitable for beginners, even children can do it; it's not difficult at all. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Next time I'll try the forward trek. There are supplies along the way, so you don't need to bring too much food.
The autumn colors were beautiful. I was right to come during the September-November season recommended on Xiaohongshu. It wasn't a holiday, so there were far fewer people, and all I saw was scenery. The only downside was that the whole route was very long, and I didn't finish it. I'll definitely come back for another experience next time.

The Zhangshan Grand Canyon in Jixi is absolutely stunning! The towering Baizhangyan Cliff stands majestically, the ancient Huihang Trail exudes historical charm, and the crystal-clear streams are perfect for wading. Every step is a refreshing and invigorating experience, a hidden gem worth making a special trip to.
I went in the summer, and the scenery was quite beautiful, with clear water and green trees. It was also really hot. It was great for kids to play in the water, but safety should be a priority. The sanitation really needs improvement; there was litter everywhere, and the people who littered were really inconsiderate.
