I came to the Water Street of Yanzhen and started a pleasant journey.
As soon as I stepped into the Water Street, the quaint buildings came into view, as if I had traveled through time and space. The bluestone road was winding, with shops on both sides, and the quaint signs swayed gently in the breeze. Walking in it, I heard bursts of hawking sounds, which was very lively.
Walking along the Water Street, a clear stream runs through it, the river surface is sparkling, several small boats slowly pass by, and the tourists on the boats are laughing and talking. The weeping willows by the river are lingering, and the willow branches gently brush the water surface, rippling layers of ripples. I couldn't help but stop and sit on the stone bench by the river, quietly enjoying this picturesque scenery.
The food in the Water Street is even more mouth-watering. Candied haws, oil tea, soup dumplings... Each one exudes an attractive aroma. I tasted the steaming soup dumplings, took a bite lightly, and the delicious soup overflowed in my mouth, leaving an endless aftertaste.
Yanzhen Water Street not only has charming scenery, but also has a profound cultural heritage. It was once an important channel for salt transportation and witnessed the rise and fall of the salt industry. Today, it welcomes visitors from all over the world with a brand new attitude, making people linger.
