I went to the Tibetan Culture Museum and there was still a little time before it closed, so I thought I might as well take a look since I was already there. It was quite interesting. However, I still didn't quite understand it myself.
The Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum is a treasure trove of Tibetan art. Its rich collection includes over 60,000 artifacts, including thangkas, costumes, and ancient books. Its flagship exhibition, "A Colorful Panorama of Chinese Tibetan Culture and Art," stretches 618 meters and is breathtaking. It offers an excellent window into Tibetan culture and is well worth a visit.

It's worth a visit. It's best to have someone explain the Tibetan people and the historical development of Tibetan Buddhism culture. It's especially good. People living in the mainland should come to understand the Tibetan culture.
Inside the Ta'er Monastery are all kinds of Buddha statues. If you don't understand, you may not remember anything even if you listen to the explanation. But you can see that Tibetan Buddhism is different from the temples we usually visit. For example, the layout is different. And Ta'er Monastery has many super devout pilgrims. It's a good thing to come all the way here and pay 70 yuan for the ticket. Go and have a look.

Shapotou is definitely worth a visit. The scenery and attractions are both truly remarkable. Children under 1.2 meters or 7 years old don't need to pay a ticket, especially for tourists from other places.
The speedboat and sheepskin rafting are unique (kudos to the sheepskin raft drivers on rafts 78 and 79; they were friendly and helpful. Riding on a sheepskin raft, listening to music, and drifting down the river was truly immersive). The surfing car is thrilling, the desert flying tour offers great views, the camel ride is a must, the long sand slide is okay, and the glass bridge is fantastic. We tried them all. Unfortunately, we didn't get to go flying over the Yellow River; if you're under 70 pounds and over 60, it's out of the question. The kids absolutely loved the desert and had a blast.
Grapes are 5 yuan per pound at the entrance, grilled sausages are 6 yuan each, a large wonton is 20 yuan, mugwort cold noodles are 15 yuan, and the cultural and creative ice cream is 18 yuan, which is quite delicious.
The service inside and outside the scenic area is excellent; I have no complaints.

A shuttle bus service is available, making it easy for adults, children, and the elderly. If you prefer to walk on your own, you can also enjoy the scenic area. A half-day trip is more than enough.
The scenery is charming and beautiful, especially when it rained the first day and the ink painting is colorful the next day! The scenic area is very large, 600 square kilometers, and the transportation is very convenient. You can take Didi, taxi or scenic bus from Lanzhou city, which takes about an hour.

Since ancient times, Sun and Moon Mountain has been a crucial mountain pass along the Qinghai Road of the Silk Road, the Tang-Tibet Road, and the Tea-Horse Road. Legend has it that Princess Wencheng, while traveling through this area on her marriage to Tubo, cast aside the Sun and Moon Mirror to overcome her homesickness, hence the name Sun and Moon Mountain. This area also marked the boundary between the Tang and Tubo regions, and was the site of important historical events such as the Chiling Trade.

There are two main areas, one on the mountain and one at the bottom. It was beautiful after the snow. The area on the mountain was more picturesque, but the area at the bottom had those giant prayer flags. The entire area was larger than I expected, so I'd need 2-3 hours to explore it.

Whether it is worth going depends on how you play. We did a deep hike in Zhagana, a 23-kilometer small loop around the mountain, and saw beautiful scenery. We felt that the ticket price was worth it.

Whenever I travel to a new place, I always want to visit a museum to learn about its history. I booked free tickets in advance through the official WeChat account, and there's a free locker on the left side of the entrance, which was very convenient. I was surprised by how many visitors usually visit the Gansu Museum, and there was a long line right at the entrance. The main areas of interest are on the second and third floors. The Gansu Museum is very famous for its cultural and creative products, and the prices are quite high, so I bought one as a souvenir. The most famous exhibits are undoubtedly the Horse Stepping on Flying Swallow and the glass lotus flower tray. I was lucky enough to see them in person, and I was truly impressed by the wisdom and exquisite craftsmanship of the ancients. There aren't many other exhibits. Since visiting the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, I feel like every museum's artifacts are younger. Across from the Gansu Museum is a large shopping mall, Lanzhou Center, which you can also visit.
It's worth seeing. A quick tour on your own is a good way to understand history. The teacher's explanations can help you understand history through cultural relics and connect the dots. Teacher Zhang's explanations are very detailed and comprehensive, and he's very efficient. The morning meeting was smoother, and he even recommended parking for us. I especially appreciate the explanations, so much so that even when I visited Wuwei and Zhangye, I could still recall Teacher Zhang's explanations at various museums and connect them all. Highly recommended.
