The hotel has complete facilities, a great environment, and parking available. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's very close to the scenic area. The room is a mountain view room, clean and tidy, with a separate shower and toilet, smart home technology, and a very quiet environment. The bedding is clean. There's a laundry room and gym on the second floor, and free luggage storage is also available. I'd definitely stay here again.
Wugong Mountain has two main characteristics. First, its summit is a grassland! The professional term is "alpine meadow," located at an altitude of nearly 2000 meters, creating this stunning scenery. If time is tight and the weather is bad, walk from the South Gate to Yuelu Academy and Aiwan Pavilion; the return journey takes about two hours.
If the weather is good and you have more time, enter from the East Gate by sightseeing bus to the mountaintop viewing corridor, then walk down the mountain to visit Chuanshipo Lake, Yuelu Academy, and Aiwan Pavilion.
The sightseeing bus route is flat throughout, making it beautiful even on rainy autumn days.
There are so many people on holidays. It is recommended to travel during off-peak hours. It will be more comfortable. We did not go to Aiwan Pavilion and Yuelu Academy up close. Yuelu Academy requires separate tickets. The tour guide did not give us time to buy tickets separately. We came to pick it up in a hurry.

It's worth a visit. The scenery may be beautiful in September and October. I went there in mid-May. It was just planted and not green yet.
You can drive to the scenic area by yourself. You can stop and get off the car at the viewing platform. There is not much shopping. There are a few villagers living there selling some specialties, but I really can't understand their speech.
The air is good, there are few people, and the experience is good!
There are food and drinks in the surrounding towns, which is more convenient.
The scenic area is very large, and you can only drive up the mountain by yourself. There is no shuttle bus or anything like that. If you have time and are not afraid of being tired, you can climb up the mountain. It is recommended to go up the mountain in the morning. If you go in the afternoon, the terraces will be backlit (I went in the afternoon, and it should be good to take pictures in the morning). The scenery is really good, and it feels only suitable for taking pictures and checking in. There are no other attractions. There are homestays and farmhouses on the mountainside.
