The hotel service was warm and welcoming, the rooms were clean and tidy, the rooms were cozy and spacious, the location was excellent, the housekeeping staff were friendly, the receptionist was very welcoming, and the room price was very reasonable – great value for money! I had more than one comfortable and pleasant stay experience, and I also felt a sense of warmth and community. That's my review of this hotel. Superb!
Our guide for this trip was Liangliang from Elephant Travel, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Because of our limited time, Liangliang helped us plan our route effectively and provided very detailed explanations even within our tight schedule. She also pointed out many small details that we might not have known on our own. I would definitely recommend Liangliang again next time I bring my children.

It's a traditional-themed cultural scenic area with dozens of performances, including several highlights such as the horse battle where Yue Fei defeats Xiao Liang Wang with his spear, the naval battle where the Jin army attacks Bianjing, traditional intangible cultural heritage acrobatics, and themed parades. The downside is the separately charged evening performance, "A Dream of the Song Dynasty in Bianjing," which reportedly features over 1000 performers. Perhaps due to its outdated design, it lacks originality and contemporary innovation, and compared to shows like the Fantasy City Theater in Henan, it doesn't justify the price. On the other hand, the chrysanthemum exhibition was fantastic; it was the first time I'd seen colorful chrysanthemums, and overall, it was a great experience.
This is a truly fantastic scenic spot, suitable for all ages. Everyone loved it. The concert atmosphere was amazing, the children's playground was large and well-equipped, the chrysanthemums were in full bloom, and the lights were dazzling at night. The performances were spectacular. It's definitely worth a visit, and I'll definitely go again!

Today I chose the lazy way to climb the mountain. I highly recommend driving. There are plenty of parking spaces inside the scenic area, and parking is free and unlimited. When leaving the scenic area, the electric tram costs 5 yuan per vehicle, and the gasoline car costs 10 yuan per vehicle. The scenic area entrance fee is 100 yuan. No reservation is needed for vehicles entering the scenic area; just scan your ID card at the entrance. Park near the Yunjing/Zhongling cableway (Level 1 cableway). Currently, only one of the two cableways is open each day, with the same price, and opening is random. Today we used the Yunjing cableway, which costs 130 yuan round trip. The Level 1 cableway is a must-ride; otherwise, it's estimated to take 4 hours to climb to Zhongtianmen. After getting off the Level 1 cableway, walk 5 minutes to the Fenglin cableway (Level 2 cableway), which costs 80 yuan round trip. After getting off the cableway, go through the Fairy Tunnel to reach the Ten-Mile Painting Screen. The essence of the mountain scenery is all here; it's all flat ground, no climbing required, and every step reveals a beautiful view. When you reach the General Peak service area, be sure to use the restrooms; they are cleaner here than at the top of the mountain. This concludes the tour of the Ten-Mile Painting Screen. You can choose to take the elevator directly to the Golden Summit for 40 yuan, but it has been closed since March of this year. The only option is to hike, which took about an hour. When you reach the Taibai Service Area, be sure to check the route carefully. There are two paths: one leads to the summit of Funiu Mountain, requiring further hiking; the other is a gentler path directly to the Golden Summit, which you can see at the service area, behind the souvenir pavilion. Both paths eventually lead to the Golden Summit; choose according to your physical condition. Today I only visited the Golden Summit, Daode Mansion, Laojun Temple, and Jade Emperor Peak. They were very beautiful. I went in the morning and didn't get to see the lights come on at night. When I came down, I saw a long queue for the cable car, just like during the October 1st holiday. People say Xi'an only has peak season and peak-peak season, and this place seems to be similar. To get down, you can take the slide for 20 yuan, which takes you directly to the entrance of the second-level cable car. The entire trip took 4 hours.
Overall, Laojun Mountain has beautiful scenery and is worth visiting, but the overall cost is quite high. If you need to burn incense, bring your own, as it's more expensive on the mountain (30 yuan for 3 sticks). Wishing plaques are also available; 5 yuan at the foot of the mountain, 20 yuan on the mountain. There are many stalls at the summit; instant noodles are 12 yuan, but don't bring your own, as you'll need to pay an extra 5 yuan for hot water if you bring your own. There are also Mixue Ice Cream, Bawang Tea, Kuafu Fried Skewers, Zhengxin Chicken Cutlet, etc., with prices similar to those at the foot of the mountain, which are quite reasonable. Most people choose to go up the mountain around 1 pm because the Golden Summit is very beautiful when lit up at night. However, it gets quite crowded. Also, bring a coat, sun hat, umbrella, etc. It's cold on the mountain, especially at night.
Laojun Mountain is truly a real-life fairyland! The cable car takes you directly to the summit, making it incredibly convenient. The ten-mile-long suspended walkway offers breathtaking views at every turn, with its uniquely shaped mountains and rocks resembling a natural painting. At dusk, the golden summit illuminates, creating a truly divine scene where the lights blend seamlessly with the sea of clouds, creating a stunning, shimmering, dreamlike landscape. In the morning, the sea of clouds surges among the mountains, accompanied by the ancient bells of the Taoist temples, offering a truly healing experience for both body and mind. With reasonable prices, excellent facilities, and the fusion of natural beauty and Taoist culture, this trip is absolutely worth the price of admission!

Pingyao Ancient City has always been famous, and I finally managed to visit it today. You can walk around the ancient city without any trouble. The money exchange, bank, security escort agency, county government office, and courtyard are all well preserved, showing tourists the appearance and local customs of a relatively developed county town in Shanxi during the Republic of China period. Walking on the bumpy stone road with light snowflakes falling from the sky makes you feel very immersed in the place.
I recommend the Pingyao County Government Office, the best-preserved and largest feudal county government office in China. There's a court performance at 9:30 PM. The Rishengchang Exchange House, located on West Street, is the representative of Pingyao Ancient City's banking industry. It was China's first exchange house and pioneered modern banking. The Pingyao Confucian Temple was first built in the early Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty. Its Dacheng Hall is a Jin Dynasty building and is the oldest existing Confucian temple of all levels in my country. Outside the ancient city, there are also famous attractions such as Shuanglin Temple and Zhenguo Temple. I also recommend the "Encounter Pingyao" performance at 7 PM.

A three-day ticket costs 100 yuan, and there are tons of NPCs and nearly 3,000 performances per day, making it perfect for young people, couples, friends, and students from junior high to high school. However, for middle-aged people, the content might feel overwhelming due to the sheer volume and variety of themes. Themes include fantasy, the Republic of China era, Tang and Song dynasties, the War of Resistance against Japan, and intangible cultural heritage. Secondary sales within the park are affordable, and food, drinks, and shopping are comparable to those outside. It's incredibly popular on weekdays, especially with many people spontaneously wearing Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) to experience the park. It's a product of today's affordable economy, and Wansui Mountain's popularity is well-deserved.
I had such a wonderful time at Wansui Mountain in Kaifeng! We happened to be there during the chrysanthemum exhibition, and the entire scenic area was a sea of flowers, perfect for taking amazing photos. What surprised me most were the activities within the scenic area; there were so many interactive NPCs, it felt like stepping back in time, which was really fun. The light show at night was absolutely stunning, illuminating the entire area like a dream. Plus, the prices here are incredibly reasonable; I didn't spend much money at all after a whole day, making it excellent value for money.

I spent the entire day, from 9:30 in the morning to 8:00 in the evening, inside that place called Henan, surrounded by tall yellow walls, binge-watching shows in a rush. It was an experience that was well worth the money.
It's definitely worth a visit. There are three major plays: "Ice Fantasy" is suitable for all ages and tells the story of ancient people in Henan; then there's "Li Family Village" and "The Train Station," both quite touching. The train station is a moving theater, which is very interesting. The rest are smaller theaters, each with its own strengths and weaknesses; I didn't quite understand some of them.

I drove through Shanxi, visiting the Li Family Mansion in Yuncheng, the Ma Family Mansion in Pingyao, the Wang Family Mansion, and the Cao Family Mansion. The Qiao Family Mansion was the best experience of all. The architecture was exquisite, the management was excellent, and the official explanations were very helpful. It's clear that with its fame and established reputation, both its operations and management have kept pace. Although the Qiao family were primarily businessmen, their family values and patriotism were truly admirable.
The Qiao Family Compound is a representative of Shanxi merchants and a popular filming location for movies and TV shows. It's excellent, offering insights into the development of China's commercial empire and its social and cultural aspects during that period, making it very educational. The architecture itself is a concentrated display of the traditional courtyard houses of northern China.

From the ambiance to the service and dining, everything exceeded our expectations – a 10/10! Built by the lake, the hotel exudes the unique elegance of Jiangnan. Opening the window reveals shimmering lake views, and a gentle breeze carries the fresh scent of water. The grounds are dotted with pavilions and terraces, winding paths through lush greenery, and wide, smooth walkways with plenty of wooden benches, making leisurely strolls and sightseeing effortless for our elders. The tranquil atmosphere, away from the city's hustle and bustle, ensured our elders slept soundly every night. The rooms were excellently soundproofed, with warm, soft lighting that wasn't glaring. The furniture had rounded edges, and the bathroom thoughtfully included a non-slip mat, a bath stool, and safety handrails. The vanity height was also adjusted for our elders – these age-friendly details ensured their safety. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh, odorless ingredients with mild seasonings, perfect for our elders' palates. The buffet dinner featured local lake delicacies and authentic Hangzhou cuisine, with a diverse selection of seafood, grilled meats, and desserts. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. The dining environment was elegant and quiet, with spacious tables that allowed seniors to move around easily. The staff promptly refilled tea and changed plates, making the experience effortless. Ms. Xu's professionalism and dedication made this trip to Jiangnan exceptionally comfortable and smooth.
This is a historically significant place. I followed the designated tour route and learned about Confucius's life and achievements. The most stunning sight was the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, its golden leaves breathtakingly beautiful. However, external management needs improvement; a bunch of tour guides were chasing after customers, which wasn't a pleasant experience! The street was also severely congested!
