It was my first time visiting Tianmen Mountain, a place I'd long admired, and I was struck by its breathtaking beauty. The scenic route from Zhangjiajie City to the top of Tianmen Mountain was truly a delight.
It rained continuously, but it stopped raining on the day we just went up the mountain. It was cloudy and gray at the foot of the mountain, but after we went up the mountain, we saw clouds and mist, and the air was fairy-like. We chose Line A. There were 2 adults, 2 children, and 1 old man, aged 3, 5, and 65. We traveled with our family on flat roads and by cable car. It was not very tiring. We traveled during off-peak hours, so the queues were not long and it was comfortable. The old man was very happy and had unforgettable memories. The price was a bit expensive, but it was worth it.

The No. 1 Ladder in the World is very fast, and it teleports from the top of the mountain to the bottom in a flash. I avoided the crowds and watched a large number of tourists flocking in from the opposite direction. Haha, some of them had to wait in line!
A very nice national forest park. I went there on the first and third days of my self-driving trip to Zhangjiajie. The ticket was valid for four days, which was very considerate. Especially during my second visit to Huangshizhai, where I almost had my phone snatched away by a monkey. 😂

Arrived at 11:00 am, it felt like a private place, quiet, and the feeling of slowly swimming down was also good. I visited the Zhuangyuan Building, Confucius House, etc. It was good! But I didn't see the performance, which was a little regretful.
You must go late, the cheap tickets are worth the money. The evening show is very exciting and I think it's fun. The lights are also beautiful. But the food inside is not very good.

Recommended for cool play 1. Glass bridge cloud stroll: step on the thrilling and cool cloud sky crossing glass bridge, feel the extreme comfort of the canyon gale wind, overlooking the shock and coolness of the deep valley water at your feet. 2. Canyon tracing the stream hydrophilic: in the rainbow square close contact with the clear cold stream, take off your shoes to play in the water, feel the stream over the instep of the cool heart. 3. Waterfalls bathed in mist: Visit the starry waterfalls in the canyon (such as Rainbow Lake Waterfall, Tianxian Waterfall, a curtain of dreams, etc.), standing by the waterfall, let the splash of small water droplets form a natural cold fog, wrap the whole body, and instantly dispel the heat. 4. The sky-hanging plank road Range Rover: walk on the cliff-hanging plank road, immersive experience the depth and coolness of the canyon, feel the magic of nature and the generous gift of the cool breeze. 5. Searching for secrets by boat: Take a cruise on the Shenquan Lake downstream of the canyon, the blue waves are rippling, the breeze is coming, and you can enjoy the majesty and green vitality of the cliffs on both sides of the river in the most leisurely attitude.
El puente es una verdadera obra de arte, pero perderse el hermoso Cañón es un delito. Pasamos un paseo maravilloso y relajante a primera hora del día.

The indoor performances were like a live Spring Festival Gala! The actresses were so graceful and beautiful that they captivated me. Who doesn't love beautiful women?! The most memorable part was the Xiangxi corpse-carrying performance. The plot was so heartfelt and touching, paying tribute to the heroes who defended our country, that I literally burst into tears! In addition to the indoor performances, Charming Xiangxi also had outdoor performances. It rained continuously that day, and I thought the outdoor performances would be canceled, but they went on as planned. Before the show began, the familiar calligraphy sales segment appeared—a scene I feel like you can't miss anywhere you watch a performance without. The outdoor performances included jacks, walking on hot coals, and climbing a knife mountain. Just watching them was thrilling and kept me on edge the entire time. There was also a knife-throwing performance that was absolutely captivating. Finally, the host invited the audience to join the performers in a dance, bringing the atmosphere to a climax and putting smiles on everyone's faces.
The first part of the show, which is the majority of the performance (part one inside for ~1h, part two outside for ~30min), was absolutely amazing. My first experience in a Chinese theater and the visual effects combined with the storytelling and traditional thematic, performed by highly skilled artists, was mind-blowing. The second part was somehow predictable and bland, but altogether an amazing experience. Kudos to Chinese/Korean/English subtitles that follow the show in the background, made it easier to understand the context.

Huanglong Cave is one of the largest karst caves in the world, boasting a dazzling array of stalactites, stalagmites, and stone pillars in a variety of shapes and forms. Most astonishingly, these stalactites have grown over tens of thousands of years! Standing before them, you truly feel the power of time.
The cave is a typical karst landscape, with a long section consisting of a boat trip and a walking tour. The scenery inside the cave is beautiful, and the temperature is cool, making it a perfect escape from the heat. I booked a 298 yuan premium ticket, which included a dedicated female guide who accompanied me throughout the tour. The service was excellent and highly recommended. The boat ride was a separate boat from the VIP dock, eliminating the queues. We were able to board a separate boat, which carried two of us. Regular tickets require a queue, with about 10 to 20 people sharing a boat. The experience was wonderful. The only slight quibble was buying a luminous pearl for 240 yuan inside the cave, only to find it was only 20 yuan outside the cave entrance. I couldn't tell the difference, and the website said it wasn't natural. I didn't understand; I bought it because it looked so beautiful in the dim light inside the cave, and I felt a bit ripped off. The pictures are below. The smaller one is the more expensive one inside, while the larger one is a street vendor's item. I hope a member of the scenic area staff can explain the difference. I'm deducting one point here. Everything else was excellent.

In addition to the performance, it is also a parent-child playground. You can come two hours in advance to play. The memorial staff are very dedicated and good, so it doesn't make people feel fake. The performance is naturally good, and the children said it was very fun

I have watched all three major performances in Zhangjiajie, and Tianmen Fox Fairy is worth watching. The outdoor stage at the foot of Tianmen Mountain has a beautiful environment and amazing stage effects. Although the lines are a bit inappropriate for children, it is very interesting.
I had a lot of fun watching this performance. The audio quality is great and the production is top notch. It's really incredible how they managed to set up the stage near Tianmen :)

First, Baofeng Lake's most striking feature is its crystal-clear, mirror-like water, reflecting the surrounding verdant mountains, trees, and ever-shifting clouds. Standing by the lake, one feels as if transported to a flowing landscape painting, a place of profound spiritual cleansing and tranquility. This natural landscape, where humanity and nature blend seamlessly, allows one to instantly forget the hustle and bustle of the city and experience nature's purest gifts. Second, the fusion of mountains and water at Baofeng Lake is profoundly poetic. Towering peaks frame the lake, interspersed with bizarre rock formations, creating numerous awe-inspiring natural wonders. Climbing to the lakeside observation deck offers breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, especially in the morning mist or at sunset, creating a dreamlike scene. This scenery is not only refreshing but also inspiring artistic inspiration. Furthermore, Baofeng Lake boasts an exceptional ecological environment. The lake boasts pristine water and diverse biodiversity, with common waterfowl, fish, and plants adding to the vibrant life. Walking along the lakeside paths, you'll occasionally encounter local fishermen, experiencing their fishing life and appreciating the beautiful harmony between man and nature. It's worth noting that Baofeng Lake is also richly infused with cultural elements. Ancient temples and stone carvings dot the lakeside, telling stories of a long history. Annual folk festivals and cultural performances allow visitors to experience a rich cultural atmosphere while appreciating the natural beauty. This combination of "mountain and water" makes Baofeng Lake not just a natural scenic spot, but also a cultural sanctuary rich in cultural heritage. Finally, the Baofeng Lake tourist experience is unique. In addition to traditional boat tours and hiking adventures, the scenic area offers a wide range of outdoor activities, such as kayaking, fishing, and camping, catering to a variety of travellers. In particular, the lakeside B&Bs and restaurants offer local delicacies and a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. In summary, the Baofeng Lake Scenic Area, with its pristine waters, unique peaks, rich ecology, and profound cultural heritage, is an exceptional destination that blends natural beauty with cultural experiences. Whether you enjoy tranquil nature or seek cultural depth, Baofeng Lake will provide you with unforgettable travel memories. When you come here, you will find that the most beautiful scenery is often hidden among mountains and rivers that have been gently treated by time.
I used to go to Zhangjiajie to climb mountains and see strange peaks. This time, I took my parents and children to visit Baofeng Lake. It was very relaxing. We spent two hours leisurely playing and took a car to the lake for a boat ride. The lake is not very big and the water is very green. I saw the 130-year-old giant salamander, Benben, and the children were very happy.

There were many people there that day, so there were no photographers who could help take photos (the kind that cost 30 yuan per photo). It would have been better if we could have told you in advance about this situation, otherwise it would have been a pity to find out when we got there. I was a little dissatisfied. The fun itself was good, but the route was actually quite short. Compared with the price, the cost performance was not high.
Very professional guides/staff and a stunning view during an epic route.Once in a lifetime experience, do NOT hesitate!
