I really enjoyed coming here with my mom and husband. We were able to see the animals up close while still feeling safe, which was amazing! I often see Yelang Valley on various platforms. This time I came here specifically when I was in Guiyang. I parked my car on the side of the road and walked a short distance into the scenic area. The area is not large and I finished it in less than an hour. If you like abstract art, you can come and see it. The other elements are relatively simple. The value for money is also OK.

To prevent electronic interference, you need to take a long 50-yuan shuttle bus and a 20-yuan direct bus (elderly people can't climb). However, the scenery from above is breathtaking and unique, and you can enjoy the peace and quiet without your phone!
The best photo spots up there have people helping you take photos for 30 yuan each, so remember to bring cash.

The best place to get to know a local is through a museum. Yunbo Museum is right next to Guandu Ancient Town. We went in the morning and it was quite crowded. Our tour guide said it was even more crowded in the afternoon, probably because many people visit Yunbo Museum before heading to Guandu Ancient Town.
The guide was very good! He covered six historical museums in two hours and covered almost all the important cultural relics. Yunnan's historical relics are very interesting. I benefited a lot and will come again next time!
