It's worth a visit. I've been there twice. I suggest you join a group tour at the entrance to find a guide. Also, try to get up early and go there as early as possible. The pandas are very active in the morning, but I'm a bit lazy, so most of them were asleep when I went there!!!
Absolutely a "must see" on your list when you come to Chengdu. I wasn't disappointed and saw red pandas and white giant pandas and many of them. They are sooo cute and the scenery is serene, peaceful. If you don't want to walk, take the sightseeing bus for only 30¥. Be sure to also checkout the Bamboo Tower where you get to see the view of Chengdu.

It was indeed quite shocking, but the bronze artifacts inside were a bit visually tiring. Moreover, you cannot make an appointment for a manual tour online, you have to make an appointment on site, and if there are too many people and it's late, you can't make an appointment, which is inconvenient.
Tickets for the Sanxingdui Museum are available at 8:00 PM every day (you need to book 5 days in advance) for adults at R72 per person. From Chengdu East to Guanghan North/Sanxingdui, you can take a taxi or a special bus. Tips for taking photos: Lower the exposure to capture artifacts! You can get photos without crowds in the background. Sanxingdui's creative products are fantastic. The first floor's creative area is packed with artifacts, refrigerator magnets, blind boxes, and pendants, making it hard to move your legs.

I was lucky enough to meet a very good tour guide, a tall and fat boy. He gave a passionate explanation throughout the whole process, which aroused people's strong interest in Du Fu's life.
Du Fu Thatched Cottage is the former residence of the great Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu during his stay in Chengdu. It is located at 37 Qinghua Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province[16]. Du Fu lived here for nearly four years and wrote over 240 poems. The late Tang Dynasty poet Wei Zhuang found the ruins of the thatched cottage and rebuilt it into a thatched hut, preserving it. It was renovated and expanded throughout the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.

When you come to Chongqing, you must not miss the giant pandas. I was lucky enough to see all of them. I also saw the tigers in the beast area up close. I have no regrets. I will bring my children here next time if I have the chance.
I entered the zoo at 8:00 AM, but at that time, I couldn't see any giant pandas. Only the keepers were cleaning the grounds. The cats slowly started to emerge around 8:30 AM, and by 9:00 AM, most of them were probably out for breakfast. But even then, it was incredibly crowded. The observation areas for the popular pandas, Qi Sanmei (formerly known as Qi Ying) and Mang Xiaowu (formerly known as Mang Cancan), were packed with people, including live streamers and cat fans. It was hard to squeeze in. But what I think is different about Wormhole Zoo is that the pandas here are kept in pairs, allowing for a lot of fun interactions—mothers and children, sisters, and brothers. It was also incredibly interesting. I also got to see up close how severe the pandas' myopia is, haha. The price of 25 yuan for adults and 12 yuan for discounted tickets was well worth it. The other animals were included. Since it's a mountain town, I saw the red pandas living in groups on the hillsides, so adorable. There was also a heartwarming scene of a family of three giraffes dining together. It was my first time seeing a hippopotamus sleeping on land. Overall, it's a pretty good zoo and well worth a visit in Chongqing. However, the park layout feels a bit chaotic, as there are many steps up a hill, and the signage isn't very clear. It felt a bit tiring walking up. The Wormhole's cultural and creative products are very cute. Although I didn't see Yu Ai, I did buy some Yu Ai merchandise. Finally, we all love Yu Ai very much and hope that he recovers quickly and can resume exhibitions.

Purchasing tickets was very convenient, and Ctrip's booking process was cheaper than the Jinsha mini-app. Having visited Sanxingdui, Jinsha clearly has far fewer exhibits and is much smaller. Thus, the ticket price seems less cost-effective than Sanxingdui.
Overall it's pretty good. Compared to Sanxingdui, it's more like a museum. I was lucky enough to encounter a special exhibition when I went there. The traditional Chinese color aesthetics in the cultural relics and many exhibits of the Palace Museum. This ticket is worth it.

Easy to see panda, recommend to prepare yourself, this place needs to walk to highlight spot which be far.
There are far fewer people than at the city base. As long as you go early and feed the cats, you can take close-up photos of the cats. The mountain vegetation is more abundant and cooler, and the landscape is well done. It is worth a visit. The giant pandas are outside and the red pandas are inside.

Entering the Chengdu Museum is like stepping into a time tunnel of Bashu civilization. In the Human and Nature exhibition hall on the basement floor, a massive dinosaur fossil skeleton creates a visually striking experience, instantly bringing the experience closer. Upstairs, Han Dynasty pottery figurines vividly recreate ancient life, and the lively gestures of the rapping figurines are hilarious. The vibrant colors of the Tang Dynasty tri-color figurines remain, embodying the spirit of the heyday of the Tang Dynasty. The most surprising part is the Folk Customs Hall, where intangible cultural heritage exhibits like Shu embroidery and shadow puppets evoke a sense of everyday life. Interactive installations offer a direct glimpse into the charm of life in old Chengdu. Over 15,000 exhibits condense a millennium of history, making the two-hour tour both informative and engaging.
This is a large, comprehensive museum that is open to the public free of charge. It is located next to Tianfu Square in the center of Chengdu. It has convenient transportation, numerous exhibition rooms, rich collections, detailed explanations, and a full range of service facilities.

This place is worth visiting whether you are bringing children or adults alone. I think it is the best geological and biological museum in the western region. The venues are clearly classified, the content introduction is coherent and easy to understand, the layout is reasonable, the paleontological fossils are rich, the exhibition is intuitive and clear, and the exhibition layout is logical. It is worth visiting repeatedly.

The Giant Panda Garden is quieter and less crowded than the Chengdu Panda Base, making it a much better experience. The pandas are very active, and even families come out together for fun. Although the park is small, there are many pandas, including red pandas. Compared to the long lines at the Panda Base, this is a much better experience for taking children.
It's worth going. I saw giant pandas, black bears, red pandas, and two cats fighting all the time. They were very cute. When I arrived at around 10 o'clock, some of them were sleeping and closed. When I returned at 12 o'clock, I saw that they were open again. There were fewer people, which was very nice.
