Huazhu, Xiaohao, or Beiqi aren't far away. There are many areas prone to pitfalls, and with so many photography groups, the attractions are generally more daunting. Chartering a car from the beach will require an additional fee: Ctrip adds 100 yuan, while local drivers add 50 yuan. Drivers will recommend staying in the county town, but watching the sunrise is even further away, requiring early morning travel along winding mountain roads. Buses rarely reach scenic spots designed for filming, such as Beiqi S Bay, and only small cars can take smaller paths, minimizing the need for walking. The main locations for watching the sunset are above the bridge or on the beach below. Depending on the angle, the water ripples on the beach can be beautiful. Good weather is essential; avoid visiting if the weather is bad. Pay attention to the tides and choose a day when low tide coincides with sunrise and sunset for the beautiful, mirror-like mudflats.
